I’ve used the search function a thousand times and am more confused than ever on the answer I’m looking for, as there are various threads with various claims.

When is the “recovery window” after a jelqing and/or clamping session? I’m asking for something similar to working out, and needing to get protein within the first hour after a heavy workout. I’ve seen people say it starts immediately and others say it starts 24-48 hours after PE.

I had what felt like a great session Friday, was a little sore the next day and had some very minor discoloration and it got me wondering about WHEN the recovery from PE actually takes place.

My newbie routine:
*M,W,F*
Light stretching
Followed by
100 wet jelqs no base grip
100 wet jelqs base grip
Followed by
2-3 (10) minute clamping sessions

Your question really is an ambiguous one in my opinion.

To answer your specific question, the true recovery period takes place when all pe activities have stopped(decon break).

The length of the recovery period (decon break) depends on a few different factors. It can range in length but is usually between 1 and 3 months. 3 months being optimal in most cases if I remember correctly. This is assuming there is no injuries or extensive damage done.

Also, your routine is a relatively strenuous one. You may need more than one real day between sessions.

You should really decide based on how you feel.

That helps a bit. I think I was just approaching this as something similar to working out (ie break down muscle with exercise, recover, breakdown again for gains, etc).

And noted on the routine. Attempting to gain length + girth simultaneously was the goal with jelqing + clamping.

Working out your dick is much different than your biceps. You cannot compare recovery times for striated muscle and smooth muscle; much different.

Recovery starts the instant your PE session ends. Do you mean when does recovery end? If so, then it depends on what you want to do after recovery ends. Have sex? Do another PE session? I find I need a full 24 hours before starting another session. But again, after what? After a short 1-hour session in the cylinder, I can go again within the same day. After 3+ hours, I definitely need a full day or more.

Appreciate the replies and info. Lowered my routine a bit, feel better.

My question probably seemed odd but the idea of ‘well I just jelqed/clamped, I should probably wear a light ring to keep blood there the next 24 hours so the cells heal in an engorged state’ just made sense in theory lol.
