Red spot.

I am starting to get fed up with this spot. I can’t find anything about it besides wrapping and using different creams. After a while don’t you have to assume it is not injured anymore and just proceed with PE?

What size spot are we talking about, when did it appear, and for how long have you had it now?

It is just short of .5 an inch tall and across. It is Circular. Just below the glans on the top of the shaft. It is no different from any other area in anyway except that it has turned red. There is no pain. It has been there for a month now and looks the exact same as the day I saw it. Most posts say this stuff should be gone after a week. Other posts say it can be permanent. I would really like to resume PE. Any help would be very appreciated.

If it’s half-and-inch in diameter it’s not your garden-variety red spot, those are usually pretty small and the result of minor capillary leaking. Can you see whether it’s the skin itself that’s become discolored or irritated or if it’s under the skin (easiest to see if you move the skin against the tunica when erect)? If it’s the skin and it’s located just below the head I’m going to guess that it’s just wear and tear from your stretching grip. If it’s under the skin I’m not quite sure what to make of the color; capillary leaking usually turns dark within a day or two and the disappears slowly if you “pinch massage” it (believe me, I’m the master of that technique).

My suggestion is that you start up your regular routine and keep a close eye on how the spot develops, if at all. Any change for the worse (darkening or if it gets larger) and it’s time to call it quits for a while or focus on another aspect of PE.

I have one on my shaft that is noticeable and has never gone away. My wife does not complain or question it and it still works fine. PE on!
