Restorex

Hello,

Newbie here with first post!
I have been reading a lot about the different Extenders available and found the Restorex to be interesting so I bought one.
Restorex recommends to use their product only 30 minutes twice daily. No more or less.

I contacted them to ask why their product requires so much less time than others and their response was:

“RestoreX is very different from the older traction devices. Most notably, RestoreX can be adjusted while worn and tells via the white bands on the tension rods when you are in the traction zone. As a result, you can maintain a therapeutic level of traction. For the old systems, as they are worn through the course of the entire day your body will adjust to the tension and the system itself will loosen and, by our testing, there is no longer a level of tension that makes a difference in correcting the situation.
Our clinical study indicates that there is really not advantage to wearing the RestoreX device for 3, 30-minute sessions per day. Our recommendation is 2, 30-minute sessions per day with each session being separated by at least 30 minutes”

I have never used another brand, so its hard for me to compare. I can say for my Restorex, the control I have on tension is great. I can max it out for a very strong pull. So strong, I couldn’t see myself using for much more than 30 minutes at a time. I tend to think that I am achieving much more pull than other brands allowing results with much less usage, but I really don’t know?

I was curious to hear what you thought?
Has anyone on this forum used one?

I have looked at the published preliminary results and it looks interesting, really want to see the what the longer term results reveal. I think that gets published early next year. Looks like a very interesting device and while pricey if the long term results hold up, might be worth the cost.

Please share your experience with us over time.

I just bought an X4 and honestly I don’t like it. I might return it for a RestoreX.

Hi mramish, thanks for sharing. Please keep us updated about your journey with RestoreX. How long have you been using it? Did you gain size?

The RestoreX, in its current design, might not survive the test of time as it is less concealable given that one cannot articulate the system 90 degrees from center at the base into either the upward or downward positions.

I see no price advantage on the RestoreX.

It is nice to see some new technologies coming along and I’m looking forward to seeing some honest updates from those that give the RestoreX a run.

$500? Good grief!

The site was misleading, at best. They’ve got the X4 listed as needing to be worn 5 hours a day. The X4 literature recommends 2-6 hours per day; they specifically state that there was no added benefit to wearing more than 6 hours in their research subjects, but that longer daily use generally correlated with more gains.

All the various extenders do the same thing; pull on your pecker. I genuinely can’t see how one brand vs the other is really any different aside from user friendliness / comfort and fit. But, hey, if they somehow figured out a way to make it work all sorts of amazing, then I’m sure we’ll all jump right in and buy the Chinese knock-off as soon as it comes out.

Exactly, not that complicated. Time under tension. The real question is how bad do we want it?

Now it does have a novel attachment which may help with slippage. But the biggest interest for me regarding the Restorex is the length of the study. It’s I believe going to go through September of next year. So far they in the preliminary research they found that 2 X 30 minute sessions provided the best results and that a 3rd session did not yield additional results. And while the sample had tried forms of traction previously the preliminary results may still fall under the “newbie gains phenomenon. It would be interesting to see if as time progresses whether the 3 X 30 minute group doesn’t do better further into the study.

Big cock, tight abs, fit body, strong mind.

I asked them this:

“Hello there I see that your device is for men with Peyornie’s disease and men with curvatures. Would you still recommend your device to somebody that doesn’t have either and is just looking for length gains?”

This was their reply:

“Good Morning

Thank you for your email and thank you for your interest in RestoreX from PathRight Medical

RestoreX is indicated for the correction of deformity (both curvature and lost length) resulting from Peyronie’s disease. RestoreX is not indicated and has not been tested to increase length in any other condition

Thanks again and please let us know if you have any other questions

You bring up an important point, Warren.

The makers are designing a medical product for a specific purpose. They’re only evaluating efficacy in treating Peyronie’s.
As such, they can’t legally or ethically endorse the product for off label use.

At the same time, their study data is only looking at efficacy for the disease[s] they’re treating. So, their findings regarding duration and frequency of use might be 100% correct in optimization for treating Peyronie’s; but that might be entirely incorrect for optimizing gains rather than focusing on curvature.

An analysis of data from users in a forum like this would likely elucidate whether there is indeed increased gains with increased traction-time per day, and at what point it plateaus. But unless everybody’s been keeping very accurate records for their entire PE “career”, it would be pretty difficult to compile the data. I bet it would be quite similar to the data that X4 has been compiling and advertising; that Peyronie’s is best treated with two shorter periods of traction, but PE gains increase with time, up to a certain point which they say is about 6 hours/d.

Sharing results

First post here —- glad to see there is somewhere on the internet to share RestoreX results. So here goes..

Purchased back in October for sole purpose of gaining length (I do not have PD). I understand it’s a medical device for PD but the clinical results were promising for gaining length and, for wearing just 2x for 30 min. Daily, sounded like it might be worth the high price. Have used every day except for maybe two in the past four months.and, well, the results have been noticeable but hardly anything to brag about. Started with BPEL of 6.3” and am now at 6.7” - basically a one centimeter gain in four months. And, I think it has stalled out — haven’t seen much improvement over last couple weeks. Plus, really no noticeable gain on visible erect penis (maybe 1/4”?). I have probably a 1” fat pad so it’s a race against time! I plan to keep using for a full 6-9 months and see what happens — my goal is a modest 1” gain in length.

Anyone else keeping track with similar goals?

.4” since October is very good. Had you done PE prior?

Buckfever - I tried one of those ring devices but found it difficult to get proper tension and wearing for so many hours per day! Used it maybe a week and returned it for a full refund (surprisingly). I just measured the RestoreX tension when black tension bars are just about covered by spring clamp and got about 2700 gms. Not sure where this is relative to other PE devices but it is definitely a good stretch and takes maybe 6-8 weeks to work up to.

Is there any consensus on restorex? How does it work for uncut guys?

05.10.2018: NBEL 15.5cm (6.1 inch), NBEG 14cm (5.5 inches), BPEL 18.5 (7.28 inch).

Extending via penimaster 2h-4h a day.

Goal: NBEL 8x6 inches
