Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to start off by saying that Thunder’s Place rocks and everyone here is very helpful. I have been doing PE for 4-5 months and have seen small gains, which I anticipated. I love PE and think it’s great for the body and mind. I now feel as though I am starting to plateau or maybe it’s impatience. I was thinking of changing my routine as I am still on the newbie routine..
15-20 min basic stretching
200 wet jelqs
150-200 kegels
2 days on 1 day off

I was wondering if there were any suggestions for routine change or modification, as I am feeling I need some direction. My main concern is length and any information or comments would be appreciated. Also, I wanted to inquire about any recommendations for tunica stretches or an ADS or stretch aid that is available because I find manual stretches is beginning to easily fatigue the muscles in my hands and forearms.

Do you warm up/down? What grip do you use while jelqing? Your routine looks good to me.

Yes I should have stated that I do a 5min warm up and a 5min cool down

How long since you last noticed gains?

Conventional wisdom is to continue the newbie routine until you go 2 months or so without any gains. This time allows your gains to “cement”, making sure that you don’t lose them.

If you have already hit this mark let us know and maybe we can be more help. Remember not to rush things - you have the rest of your life to make gains. Impatience is the enemy of PE.

Your gains are pretty much in the average. Try switching to a 3 on/1 off and see how it goes. Also you could add some fulcrum stretches.

Thanks a lot guys! I haven’t noticed any gains in a couple of months until oddly enough last night. Today is another PE day so I will see if my measurements remain consistent. The main issue I am having is with my manual stretches. I have a hard time holding a firm stretch for 30 seconds or more. Is there any recommendations for some type of stretch aid? Can an ADS be used as a stretch aid? And finally where can I purchase these items?

Is your grip slipping when you stretch? The only thing I can say is a tighter grip about .5-1” from your head. ADS is a different concept than manual stretching. They sell them on ebay.
