Hi. Please tell me, are scales without auto shut-off very rare? I have bought a lot of scales in my country. All of them, of course, are Chinese. And none of them have a continuous duty function. Yes, there is a function for the weight not to be fixed. All you have to do is press the “Tare” button. But after a few minutes they still turn off even if the weight is not static. Continuous duty will deplete the battery’s charge more quickly, thus the rational for timed shut off. Open the battery compartment and look for a switch. If yours has one, shift it and check for continuous duty.
