Found outdated posts when I used search.

Meanwhile I find loads of redundant posts on other topics.

Moderation policy is to help members help themselves. Identifying the search button is one of those tasks. Asking questions which have been asked numerous times is a waste of time and an indication of laziness. If you had searched and did not find the information you were looking for, simply state that in your message to inform other readers that you did indeed expend some of your effort before asking them to expend theirs.

Everyone here is very willing to help someone who is willing to help themselves.

Asking cryptic questions is not helpful. Providing as much information and context as you can helps the reader and prospective responder to not have to guess at what the true question is.

Not sure I understand what you mean by “outdated”. There are many posts on this subject within the last couple of years. Do you think the technology has changed significantly enough that those posts no longer have useful information?
