Sore arms and hands but no gains

I’m only just starting to post (but I read most nights) and I know you guys give good info so I was hoping for some advice.
I’ve been experimenting with PE for a little while (on and off) without gains in length or girth yet, but I definitely have harder erections from following the newbie routine so I am very pleased.
I seem to be at a point now where the jelqs don’t seem to affect my penis anymore, but make my forearms and hands really sore. My penis swells and looks like it’s had a workout but I don’t feel like I am improving. I’m doing about 200-250 3 to 5 second jelqs at about 30-50% erection.
My question is should I do more jelqs at this level or do more stretching and stick to the same jelq routine? I’m aiming to gain about 1.25 inches to take me to 8 BPEL in the next year or so but any gains would be fantastic. I’m just getting frustrated that I don’t feel like I am moving forwards.
