Sporadic Pain in my testicles

Is this normal, every once in a wile I will have a brief, semi sharp kind of pain inside one of my testicals. But I have pains like this through my whole body. But sometimes in the testicals it will make me uncomfortable and even jump from the sudden pain. I’m not sure if it’s the pain that makes me jump or if im mentally magnifying the pain because of the location.

Are these growing pains or something else, what should I do.

I’m 22, and I haven’t PE’d in over 6 months so I don’t think that is the problem.

It is the pain, there is no such thing as mentally magnifying pain, pain is what you say it is.
Do you do testicle self exams?
Have you been kicked there recently?
Do you have diabetes?

Suggestion, if the crotch seem of your pants divide your testicles this will cause pain, wear them oneside of the crotch line or the other side.

Umm.. you have sporadic “semi sharp kind of pain” throughout your entire body?

Are you saying that you could have randomly localized sharp pains in any part of your body at any given time? And on top of that, you’re saying that occasionally these pains are localized in the testicles?

How long have you been experiencing these sharp pains in your body? How long in your testicles specifically?

What is the duration of the pain? Is there a dull ache afterwards or does the sensation leave suddenly and entirely?

When you have sharp pain in the testicles, does the pain feel identical to the pain experienced in other parts of the body?

Does the pain occur in both testicles? Is the pain isolated to one testicle when it occurs or are both affected simultaneously?

Last year I developed benign cysts on both of my testicles so I’ve been through a ton of questioning myself… and I can think of a myriad of other questions to ask you.

You ask us what you should do. The answer is pretty simple. Go to your doctor and get things sorted out. Don’t be shy and make sure your Doc gets the full story. At 22, growing pains shouldn’t be an issue. Cross your fingers and hope for a spicy female ball-fondler with warm hands.

"Life's not a bitch. Life is a beautiful woman."

And while you are at the doctor have him check your blood sugar, diabetes can trigger painful sensations in the testicles and other places in the body.

This could also be a magnesium/calcium deficiency or even Vitamin “B12”

Cyst development is often r/t a magmesium defieciency or other minerals.

Really?? :-k

I have mild diabetic, but I only feel light pain in the testicles if I shoot too much.

05/Feb/2007: BPEL 6.3", NBPEL 5.7", EG 4.9"

Best thing is to go to the doctors, better safe than sorry with these kind of things, I hope it’s nothing serious.

I have corrected the spelling in your thread title for you and highlighted the problems with your post above.

I recommend the use of spell-check. It takes two seconds, it would’ve cleared up most the errors above, and it will help you stay within the forum guidelines. Briefly proofing before posting is also a good idea. You aren’t getting graded, but it will help us with any translating that may need to be done, as this is an international web-site, and it also will make you a better communicator.

Did I mention it’s in the forum guidelines? :leftie:

As far as your problem, this is not an uncommon phenomenon. I had it myself when I was younger. As I got older I experienced it less and less. Do you notice it happens more so after masturbating and/or having sex?

If you are really concerned, or if the begins to last for longer periods time, or more frequently, or what-have-you, you should talk to your doctor.

Take an inventory of your problem and monitor it (as Girth and Greed has indicated), so you can ask your general practitioner about it and answer his questions.

I think you was a Varicocele.. Go to uro-doctor.

And on a sidenote:
I woke up one day and had a weird sensation of strong pain rummaging randomly through my bowel including the testicles.
So being in severe pain I end up at the hospital, waited for 3 hours until I finally got my turn and the doctor told me “Hey there’s nothing wrong with you.. Probably just a slightly dislocated spinal disk.” .. which for me it was in the end.

So in case the urologist can’t come up with anything a dislocated spinal disk is yet another option (eg. by slumping up in your chair.. until it finally gave way).

I had a similar experience about 6 months ago. I had a dull pain which could go into a sharp pain that would radiate through my entire abdomen/leg area. Feel around above the testicle, around the Epididymis. If it’s sensitive in that area and feels “full,” you may just have Epididymitis. I was told to take anti-inflammatories (Ibuprofen) and it cleared up within a week. My doctor told me this was extremely common in our age group, 18-24.

That’s around when I had it too. Like 17 to 24-ish. I occasionally got it after that even into my thirties. Not so much after my forties.

I am sorry Mr. Happy, I will be more careful in the future. My English is still a little rusty, I have grammar errors sometimes. It’s really no excuse because im very fluent in English but alas it still isn’t my first language.

This isnt something that happens every day, and know that you mention masturbation, I think that there might be a connection.

The last time I experienced it I masturbated many times that day because I was just bored all alone at the house. So I think that might trigger it, but every once in a wile it comes on by itself. Maybe once or twice a week.

The pain doesn’t last long, it goes for a gets intense very fast but not instantly, and it quickly subsides to a dull memory of what once was, after maybe 30sec later it’s as if it never happened.

INOXIA : Where do you lives ? Tu parles Français ??

Because I have french information about your problem .

Inoxia,

Like Beaverific, I’ve had epididymis. It sounds similar to your symptoms. However, when I was 22, I had a pain in my right nut that alternated between an acute ache and a shooting pain (around my groin and down my leg). I was so worried that I went to the emergency room—on Xmas Eve! (To make matters more interesting, the on-call doctor was one of the most beautiful docs I’ve ever seen. It was difficult not to get too excited when I had to pull down my pants.) They did an ultrasound, and the radiologist diagnosed it as a small, benign cyst.

I still get it checked annually, and I do a self-exam every few weeks, just to be sure.

If the pains continue, I’d recommend that you see your family doc, who can refer you to a urologist. Don’t mess about with it—testicular cancer tends to strike young men with some frequency.

That said, I’d reason to guess that you’re fine. Just be vigilant, and seek a medical opinion if necessary.

PM me if you have any questions about my experience.

Hi Inoxia:

When I was about 18 and in the Navy, I had the same sharp pain in my left testicle. At the time I was serving on an aircraft carrier and had been working on the flight deck as a plane captain. It was hard and heavy work and I thought I had strained it somehow. In order to get out of reporting for work (it really was painful!), I went to sick bay and reported for sick call. The doctor said I had a dilated blood vessel (varicose vein) in the testicle. He pointedly asked me if I had been masturbating, and how often. Then he asked me if I was restricting my erection in any way. I was really embarrassed (especially since my older bother was an officer on the ship and he and the doctor shared a stateroom! But, I finally, after much prompting by the doctor, ‘fessed up. There is no privacy on a ship, but I found a place behind one of the gun turrets and spent many nights there.
I used a piece of navy lacing to wrap around my penis and nut sack very tightly to keep a woody and to delay the orgasm. I had never heard of a cock ring. This is what caused my varicose vein. I was warned about using such a restriction, but I tried it again some years later, and ended up in the emergency room! Never again!

Sorry for the long story. Do you use a cock ring or anything that might have caused this pain? That just might be the problem.

GO SEE A DOCTOR!

Good luck and I hope it gets better.
