Starting Hanging With FIRe Routine

Starting Hanging With FIRe Routine

I’m disciplined and can follow the routine. I’ve read through Kryptas thread and then 5.5Squared inspired me to start a routine.

Currently I’ve been doing PE vacuum hanging for 8 months and I’ve gained .75” in EL. More on this at a later date when I hit my goal.

Before I begin I would like to know which users on this forum have done the routine (used FIR) and have gained over .5” in length (or close to it). I’d like to read their log/hear from them before I spend the next 3-6 months with no gains.

I’m not too interested in your opinion on if it works or not but rather to hear or be informed of other people on this forum who have gained or not gained doing a “hanging with fire” routine. I.e. Light hanging with FIR. (I’m aware of ultrasound and NIR. They don’t interest me at the moment)

I’ve gained 5/8 inch+ from 2 FIR hanging cycles. This is after 1 inch newbie gains from an ADS.

I use a piece of foil lined bubble wrap insulation and 2 velcro straps to secure the heating pad tightly. The insulation makes a big difference for me.

I also replaced the temperature switch on my thermedic pad with a 5v temperature switch from Amazon. This allows the pad to run continuously at a given power % without interference from safety features. I’ve never had any irritation and it cools down quickly if you start to feel too hot and turn it down. Just don’t leave it plugged in or it will continue to produce heat and fail prematurely. Don’t catch your house on fire either!

I recently started a progress log if you’d like more information on my routine and the timing of my gains. Good luck!

Which switch from Amazon did you use? Can you post a link? Congrats on your gains! Your right where I want to get to. As far as the insulation goes is that the same material you see when you order cold food and it comes in those cold storage insulated bags?

I imagine your setup being (inside to out) hanging device > insulation > thermedic pad?

Last question.I’m a little lost on when I should increase my max hang weight. I can’t seem to find it in anyone’s threads. At the moment I can easily and comfortably hang my max that was calculated with Kryptas calculator.

Thanks! I’m happy with my gains but definitely hoping for more.

The wiring requires some basic electrical knowledge but nothing crazy.

This is much more than you need but you get the idea.

The insulation goes outside/on top of the heating pad. Dick - vac hanger - heat pad - insulation - velcro

I would stay below Kyrpa’s calculated weight as long as you can. Use strain % to find your minimum hanging weight.
