Starting PE after hiatus

I heard about jelqing a few years back, and I gave it a shot. I jelqed for a few months, and saw no gains so I gave up, only to resume subsequently a month or two later. And cease yet again a few months in, due to no gains. This was in 2010, I believe. I am thinking about starting up PE once again, but still am a bit skeptical. I am not undermining the validity of PE; it is just that it never worked for me. Perhaps it was due to my lack of dedication and consistency, or my quick escalation concerning the amount of coercion issued over a short period of time. I have read others post about their 1” gains a month or two into starting PE, however, and was discouraged after seeing no gains 3-4 months into starting PE. My LOT is at 6:00, and according to Bib’s theory, it is harder for one starting with a lower LOT to make gains than one with a high LOT. Considering my low LOT, I conclude I must stretch my tunica, but it’s tedious to stand and pull my dick up for however long.. I heard about hanging in the upper angles. When I hear this, I think of hanging upside down while stretching so that the stress would be focused on the tunica. There has to be a more conventional method than that, I presume.
Anyways, given my current predicament, gains seem like a long term goal. I was wondering what routine I should use since I have some experience in PE in the past, my low LOT and constrained leisure time.

P.S. I am seeking for both length and girth gains. Predominantly length.

I bet you’re from some other forum like PEgym or elsewhere, are you not? I ask because there are a lot of liars, frauds, and troll posts on these sites. People claiming 1” gains in a month or two are for the most part, completely full of shit. Either lying, making inconsistent measurements at ever-changing erection qualities, or a fooling themselves (aka pushing the ruler a bit deeper into the fat pad, a bit higher on the stomach each time). Those kind of gains generally do not happen. In fact, I feel it’s rather safe to say that absolutely they do not happen.

2 months is absolutely nothing in PE time. Think in terms of years, decades. That is what this game is. At 2 months you’re a newborn, not even actually - you’re still in the womb. Take it slow, don’t go overboard and get injured (all to easy in my case) - try the Linear Newbie Routine (not the standard Newbie Routine, but the Linear…do a search for it).

Try four months of this and only measure once per month - see what happens.
In your spare time, scour these forums for knowledge and learn as much as you can. This effort will result in improved PE aka improved results.

I’m new to this as well—is Thunder’s considered the most reputable site out there on PE?

Easily. The others almost aren’t worth going to. Every time I go I read something that gets my hopes up, only to find that there’s some fishiness behind it, or the poster claiming gains is only 16 years old, or the pics they posted are blatantly photoshopped. The other sites also have financial incentives to sell certain products - this place does not. Thunders by far contains the most members, the most posts and the most information (also been around since 2001, so a lot of collective knowledge there).

A totally random note: if you get into pumping, take care when reading pumping advice from 2004 or earlier. Many members here used to pump at very high pressures that are now considered dangerous and ineffective. Basically the whole game of pumping has evolved into something much more helpful and less damaging since those old times. Take everything you read with a grain of salt and plan to investigate it further, and you’ll do well here. Do your research, I suggest at least 3-4 months of JUST READING on here before you even let yourself start PE. It sounds rediculous, but it’s not. I wish I would have. PE can be a dangerous game, and it’s a very fine line between having a bigger dick and having an injured dick. That’s why I’m currently out on my 8th month of no PE due to injury from performing way too many jelqs in the beginning.

If you wanna succeed, take the mature route. Read, read, read read read, THEN do.

You know, after reading up on pumping here, I am starting to understand that. Seems like there was a lot of high pressure pumping encouraged in the past and on other sites—most times I read about it here, it’s recommended at low pressure and seems to improve penile “health”.

Not that I’ll worry about that for a while, haha.

Alright. Will do. Thanks for the encouragement. Hopefully I will be dedicated enough to invest consistently into this routine.

One more thing I recommend is learning all the different tools the forum has to offer. There are so many functions that are at your fingertips, such as the PE statistics, the search function, etc.

One thing to get you started on some great reading is the ability to organize posts by rating. These are posts that have stood out in the eyes of Thunder’sPlace members, enough so that they took the time to give it 5 stars or 4 stars, etc. Near the top of each separate forum is a column that reads ‘rating’. If you click this, it will automatically bring all the best, most highly rated threads up to the top. That’s not to say that threads without high ratings have no value - many threads with no ratings at all are great. But for the most part, threads with 5 star, 4 star ratings, thumbs ups, etc are considered pretty valuable/useful by the community.
