When you do get around to hanging, which I think is a good idea given your starting stats, here is some general wisdom.

Many guys find 10-20 hours per week in the hanger is best. First maximize your available hanging time at a low weight, then slowly increase the weight until you feel it working. Then adjust the weight as necessary to “ride the fatigue” feeling without going too far into injury territory. Using an IR lamp for constant heat during the hanging sets is important.

Some more advice would be before you invest in a bib, which is still the best on the market according to those that have tried others, would be make your own and see if you can go 10-20 hours per week sitting in a chair. I’ve tried multiple times and couldn’t do it mentally. BD has a great way of going about it without losing your mind, he does it in the cold months in front of an IR lamp. I intended on doing the same thing this past fall/winter but life happened. Hanging is a huge commitment with a huge learning curve so keep that in mind. That’s the best advice I can give anyone looking to hang.
