testosterone levels and bruises from jelqing?

I’ve been injecting testosterone for many years now, but due to financial stress have been unable to for the past 6-8 weeks. I’m also been doing PE for about a year now - jelqing and wearing an ADS. Up until I ran out of T, I could do 50-100 jelqs with no problems. However, since I’ve been off T, if I do even 20, I get bruising on the shaft and glans. Is it possible/likely that the lack of T is responsible for this? Otherwise, the only other change I’ve made is to slow down my jelq speed.

I’ve had to resist the urge to jelq since the bruising started. It seems that my skin is ultra sensitive to bruising right now. If it’s not the low testosterone, what else could it be?

I think you figured it out on your own. :)

As you know testosterone has many effects from tissue building to repairing and such. You were constant with your use of teso before and now you’re not using it anymore. I think you are experiencing a semi permanent crash depending on how long you’ve been using testo.

Can’t you get a doc to prescribe it ? Or you still have to pay for it?

I should have said that I have some testosterone which is expected to arrive this week. I’m under a doctor’s care - Dr. John Crisler. I’ve been using HCG for the past week, which some guys use exclusively to raise testosterone levels, and this morning I had my first wood in a very long time, so perhaps things are looking up. Dr. John’s protocol always includes HCG to prevent testicular atrophy (shrinking balls) and Arimidex to prevent the conversion of testosterone to estrogen.

Even though it’d been at least a week since I jelqed, I tried again this morning, using a moderate grip, and only jelqed 10 times. The result was, again, bruising on the shaft and glans. It doesn’t hurt or anything, but I know it’s damage that I want to avoid. Fortunatley, I can still wear my ADS with no problem.

Women do bruise much more easily than men.

I agree. Women bruise their shaft and glans SO easily…

I was being serious. I’ve noticed that woman bruise from the tiniest little things. If you “wrestle” with one messing around or whatever they’ll have bruises on their arms just from light squeezing pressure of having their arm held. If they hit their legs on the tiniest thing like getting out of a car or whatever they’ll have big black and blue mark the next day. Women definitely bruise a lot easier than men do. I wonder if the fact that they have lower testosterone has anything to do with it.

Bruising has almost nothing to do with testosterone.

Quote
…A bruise, also called a contusion (pronounced: kun-too-zhen) or an ecchymosis (pronounced: eh-ky-moe-sis), happens when a part of the body is struck and the muscle fibers and connective tissue underneath are crushed but the skin doesn’t break. When this occurs, blood from the ruptured capillaries (small blood vessels) near the skin’s surface escapes by leaking out under the skin. With no place to go, the blood gets trapped, forming a red or purplish mark that’s tender when you touch it — a bruise…

…Anyone can get a bruise. Some people bruise easily, whereas others don’t. Why? Bruising depends on several things, such as:

* how tough the skin tissue is
* whether someone has certain diseases or conditions
* whether a person’s taking certain medications

Also, blood vessels tend to become fragile as people get older, which is why elderly people tend to bruise more easily….

I'm a big fan of 50 Cent, or as we call him in Zimbabwe, four hundred million dollars.

I think women have thinner skin in general than men do, which would cause easier bruising.

Stats:

Current: BPEL-6.5" mid-shaft EG-5" Goal: NBPEL-9" EG-6.5"

They also have more subcutaneous fat which is easier to damage.

All of this discussion regarding women bruising is interesting, but it doesn’t address my initial question, whether low testosterone could result in bruising. I guess I’ll find out soon enough - I got my testosterone back in yesterday and injected today. A few weeks from now I should be right as rain, and I’ll see if the bruising is still an issue. If NOT, then I think that Thunders might want to note in the injury forum that someone who bruises easily should get their testosterone levels checked. Make sense?

I had low T before I started supplementing a couple of months ago. Yet I never had any problems with bruising before or since. So personally I don’t see a connection.

Is it possible you just got unlucky and burst a blood vessel?

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

On a side note, how do you find Dr. John’s protocol? My doc only supplements T, usually leaves E2 where it is, and doesn’t mix T with HCG.

I feel a lot better since I started supplementing but can’t help wondering whether I’m missing something (besides my balls!).

I used dht cream on my dick a few times. When the cycle was over I had bad bruising to the point that I had to take a month off pe.

Current bpel 7 5/8" EG 5 1/8"

Clamp,clamp,clamp,pump,clamp,pump,clamp=6" EG

I use cordyceps, ginko biloba and horny goat weed and three times a year I cycle tribex with my on-going dhea (50 mg twice a day.)

The cordyceps and ginko are new to my diet and give me nocturnal erections that are so intense that they wake me.

It is quite amazing that these natural (non-pharmaceutical) substances can effect one`s dick so radically.

Sorry to misdirect the post, but I read about people getting test and growth hormone injections and wonder whether there are more natural (not having side effects) alternatives that may provide similar benefits.

And regarding bruising, it is caused by trauma to the tissues due to sufficient force to crush blood vessels under the skin which then bleeds out.

It is just my opinion but it maybe that once you came off the test, you gripped harder to compensate?

I know that I have to be careful with manual stretches as I pull hard enough to abrade the skin to the point of soreness and bleeding if I don`t pay attention.

Surf on over to Dr. John’s site, (https://www.allthingsmale.com ) go to the Publications link and read both the "TRT: A Recipe For Success" and the "HCG Update".

If your doctor is not addressing both your testicular atrophy AND monitoring your estrogen, he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Dr. John is a world-renowned expert in male hormone replacement. You didn’t say how you’re doing, but I can tell you that testosterone is aromatized to estrogen, which can end up making you feel as bad or worse than before you started on testosterone. I can also tell you that Dr. John aims for the upper range of normal testosterone levels, because most guys feel better in the upper range. And without the Arimidex, you’re likely to be noticing your balls shrinking. Dr. John will take care of all that for you.

Until I have evidence that there’s someone closer who knows what they’re doing (and I’ve had quite a few docs and endos who didn’t), I’d rather fight than switch. Maybe that means my testosterone is too high? Just joshing.

Dr. John has said he’s willing to be a consultant. You might take this approach, or at least print out the reports above and have your doctor read them.
