Before I start this thread, I am a new member to this forum as well as to PE in general. Lately, I have found it relatively difficult to continue training without reaching out to more experienced people. So, here it goes:

When I try jelqing and/or stretching, I find it difficult to stay within the range of erection needed to do the exercise. These exercises require at least some erection, but whenever I try, I easily become fully erect. I read that jelqing with a full erection is dangerous; more so, it’s practically impossible to stretch with an erection. With this, I accumulate much dead space in between exercises to allow my erection to soften. What should take no more than 20 minutes for a beginner generally ends up consuming twice that amount of time, causing me to get discouraged.

With that all said, is there a way to work on keeping my erections at bay while jelqing/stretching?? I have high hopes for PE and I hope to find a solution for this issue.

If your new you need to condition your unit to the attention its getting. Early on stimulation is exciting so your going to have to make breaks between sets. Even a warm up can cause stimulation. Warm up then leave it a minute if your hard. Even walking about for a minute can make you completely flaccid again. Then stretch. If you get hard, walk around again. Until you can manage your erection which will come after a few tries. Warm ups make me harder than I need to be for stretches so I always wait a while until they recede. The correct hardness is essential In most workouts and it’s always worth waiting for. The time it takes you to manage this will be long to start but as time goes on you will condition your unit to respond.

Sometimes taking your eyes off it helps so say your stretching with one hand and got your phone in the other watching something may help.

I am 5 months in and also have this problem. When erect I just jelq with light pressure otherwise I’d never get any jelqs in at all.
