Tracking Software Survey

Hi Gents,

I am a software developer and long time lurker here looking to contribute in my own way.

Who here would use a progress tracking website if it existed?

I am thinking you can record your routine, gains, side effects, personal details (age, ethnicity, etc), have a public profiles, etc.

What motivates me the most is being able to accurately track data so we can build a more efficient community. What do you think?

Thanks All,
J

So how about hacking? Do you really think I’d want all my really good stuff to be out there for someone to borrow?

Everyone (even Facebook) is susceptible to being hacked. Just like these forums, people would use pseudonyms and burner email accounts if they cared to.

What info are you afraid of leaking?

The less I put out there the less can be found…..and used. Now who in the right mind wants to be on Facebook?

Plus Jimmy has some fantastic antioxidant recipes that are exclusive to us. His use of garlic in his recipes for taste and health benefits need to stay private!

Nah I’ll share those; it’s other things that concern me. The less exposure on the web the better.I like to keep things private. Most guys won’t post photos of their gains just for that very reason.

I don’t log or track my P.E. But I do log / track my diet, my doctors instructions, I use a method I consider quite hack proof, it is reliable, and data protection is not an issue, it consists of a pen and a note book (old fashioned I know) but it works with no WI FI or electricity, it has never crashed or failed to save, works well, so to answer your question NO I would not use a web site.

BTW I do like Jimmybobs garlic stuff and it is definitely best kept a secret.

What’s a pen? LMAO!

A pen, same as a penis only thicker.

I appreciate the old school approach, good old pen and paper, but not for me. I use excel, easier to turn history into meaningful data, should one wish to do so.

Once upon a time (2015): 6.40” x 4.50”

Today: 7.25” x 5.00”, Thunder Cocks Unite!

I think we can...Little Engine’s Climb

I use Excel, and post my stats here at Thunder’s. That’s enough for me.

There’s a tracking system here I think. Although I measure so rarely that I can’t remember what it’s like. Good enough from memory.

My progress log and pics

Jan 2016: 8.0" BPEL 5.3" MEG

Feb 2020: 8.5" BPEL 5.4" MEG

I already use the one on here and I keep my own record in an excell file.

I suppose there’s a market for it, but I don’t quite see why you’d need to reinvent the wheel.
