I just started my PE exercises a couple weeks ago and I believe I have detected an increase already, which is strange. I measured a couple weeks ago pressed against bone and got 7, now I get 7.25, girth is the same. I made sure to measure a few times to clear up any inaccuracies. I read something about “the popping of the ligs” recently, could that be what happened? An explanation would be just groovy. :D Btw currently I’m doing boring old jelqs and stretches with equal force on the ligs and tunica. My LOT is about 8:15.

Popping ligs is something you most likely will feel, it actually makes a popping sound (or at least it did to me).

Did you experienced anything like that?

Nope.

No I didn’t hear anything pop, perhaps just good initial gains? According to my LOT though, I thought more pressure had to be on the tunica. Who knows.

Jelqing by hand never gave me a lig pop. I had my first lig pop with my Jelq device working downwards. Back then I didn’t knew what happened to my dick and I thought that I did something harmful to it. :D

Yes, you can get a lig pop that usually happens when stretching downward rather forcefully. It is not harmful and doesn’t really hurt, but it is a very weird sensation and will probably take you by surprise if it ever happens. If it does happen, you will feel and probably swear that you hear a popping sensation that occurs inside the body at the very root of your cock. No one seems to know exactly what causes it, but I think it is very similar to the effect of cracking your knuckles.

It only happens if you pull your dick very hard downwards. I don’t think it’s something to worry about, although at the moment of a lig pop you may react worried. Maybe somebody else will give some more feedback about his first lig pop. You can also do a search on “lig pop” maybe you will find more information about this.

Your early growth spurt is what is usually refered to as the newbie pop and just means that you get a 1/4 to 1/2 inch length gain in the first few weeks after starting your program. The newbie growth pop is not the same as a lig pop, that I explained in the previous post.

This thread makes me wonder if I can get several lig pops or just one? Maybe I should use my Jelq device again and find out.

Wow, I just read my previous post and it looks like a very stupid post. Trying to get more lig pops, what was I thinking. :-s

You should see what some other people post here and other forums about how they love getting lig pops all the time and see them as a sign of progress in PE. :D Personally, I don’t have a opinion on whether they are good or bad. I had a few when I was a newbie to PE and I may even have made some gains from one of them but they did scare the shit out of me when I first encountered one not knowing much about the penile anatomy.

It’s to bad that I can’t remember if I gained some length from my lig pop. I started to make notes of my penis-size only a few months ago, and I had my lig pop before that.

I can remember only one so-called lig pop. Didn’t get any measureable gain. Mine were all very gradual.

Is this lig pop thing mythology, or is it so?

Don’t want to start another thread for this, I have a simple question. When stretching I find the “OK grip” bout an inch or so behind the head a tad bit uncomfortable. Will I eventually get used to this and experience less discomfort? Also is it ok to pinch the head and stretch or is that just asking for injury? Thanks so much, this is by far the best forum I have ever been to, packed with nice people.
