Unpleasant odor from area around genitals.

Guys I have a problem. I don’t know how serious. I have some smell coming “down there”. I don’t really know it is from there. Anyways I used to have really bad jock itch. Like the rash would be really bad around the thigh region. Anyways that was a few years ago and the rash is gone but it did leave an area that is quite dark, could be some sort of scar. I did use anti-fungal cream to clean it and everyday I wash that part thoroughly in the shower but now and then it emits some kind of smell. It could be some skin problem. What should I do?

Can you be a little more descriptive?

Maybe try using a different soap something with antibacterial agents in it, try changing your diet maybe? People who tend to have a lot of meat in their diets tend to stink more.
