Users Of Topical Finesteride & Minoxidil In PE

Hello Everyone,

I have heard users in the past talking about Finesteride (oral form / tablets), in relation to it having a negative effect on PE or overall sexual health. However I want to know if Finesteride/Minoxidil topical solution (which is applied directly to the head) negatively affects PE in any way, as I am about to start the course for hair thickening.
Also, since I am a PE newbie (never done any PE exercise but read alot of basics on this forum and others) and about to start my PE routine end of this month, I would like to take care. I heard from my doctor that the oral form affects sexual performance in the long run but the topical solution is safe. Anyone using it without it affecting PE gains or other side effects ?

I used the spray and I didn’t experience any negative side effects but others have so it goes back to us all being different. Why not try it and make observations?

The topical killed my erections, soon after the first signs of new hair came in. :(

This was 5% minox only, can’t comment on the addition of fin.

It also gave me a racing heartbeat that took weeks to go away (after stopping the minox).

Stuff works great for hair regrowth, if you’re inside the ten year window. My brother has no issues and just 5% minox alone fully restored his hairline.

Only way to see how it affects you is to try it.

Ya actually I was wondering that if I start it when I start off PE it might hamper my gain potential in the long run ? I might be wrong, but just worried.

Hey hopeful2hanglow, I was just wondering, going by your signature, you’ve been PEing for 10 years now, and gained under 1.5 inch. Did you leave off in the middle or were you consistent or something ?

Finasteride is overflowed with side effects and bad consequences that could be shutting down your physical indicators, which indirectly will affects negatively your future gains.

What finasteride may cause: unable to become erect and to maintain it, decreased libido, decreased ejaculation volume, discomfort or pain in the testicles and depression.

Minoxidil looks to be ok.

I took finasteride for 2 months, and it was horrible, bad erections, feeling bad when I should feel nice and good, I should’ve quitted in the first week but I didn’t want to lose my hair. Now I still have all my hair, but I know I will lose it in maybe 1~2 years, and I seriously don’t care anymore, because I have other things to do, like studying to become a doctor, reading books, pick up girls, have my little contacts on my phone to when I want to fuck I do, I have a pretty face, but most important is having a great body, and an abs that show the arrow to your penis and great a working dick if you know what I mean.
Confidence is the key to learn you to let go your hair man. If there is something pushing you back like your hair to you feel confident, then you should study, work and learn more in life. For me hair is just a thing in your body that grows and you cut, can be a man signature, but have something in your body as your signature, believe me I know, is worthless for you and your life.

I have no experience with either product but found the following on the Finasteride wiki page

“Finasteride is a 5α-reductase inhibitor and works by decreasing the production of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), an androgen sex hormone, in certain parts of the body like the prostate gland and the scalp.[10] It inhibits two of the three forms of 5α-reductase and can decrease DHT levels in the blood by up to 70%.

Did you take the topical or oral form of medication ?

Old post but hits on exactly my concerns. I have been on finesteride for a few years now actually. I am 44 was trying to prevent my receding hair line. I honestly don’t have any issues that I’m aware of but was wondering if I should continue due to my PE goals. Curious to hear about others that also do both with no hindrance. Also I am making slow gains but gains none the less but good it be more effective without the med.
