Old info. I don’t know why Doctors want to propagate misinformation like this, but it probably goes back to how they are trained.

Although there is no clear consensus on why PE works for many, there is much anecdotal evidence that it does work for many. There are questions about your routines we can ask to
pinpoint any elements that could be altered to potentially get you gaining, but I’d say just outline what your typical PE session is like?

We are only really reaching a consensus on normal size having looked at multiple studies.

So, to dismiss it in the same breath is bad science.

His views are anecdotal and undoubtedly bias by his own interests.

I remain a hopeful skeptic.

When performing any measurements etc we have to ensure they are as controlled as possible. BPEL sure but there are also so many other things that can affect a measurement. Time of day. Temperature. Every during a single erection length alters. We are so prone to unconscious bias but being aware of it is a step in the right direction.

This video is not in the right direction.

I don’t care about the video. I know my penis is bigger now than it was when I started. And I also knew that it isn’t because I regainied lost size due to age. I’m 50 and my dick is bigger than it ever been and I love it.

There is so many penis enlargement pills, creams and ointments out there, not to mention the extenders and pump. What are they going to gain by telling the public that, “hey, penis enlargement does exist and guess what? It’s free.”

Given that the urologist in question didn’t even give an anatomically or mechanically accurate description of what jelqing is, you can safely disregard his comments I think.

It seems to me that there was no real discussion of the various methods, or even a particularly accurate description of the mechanics of jelqing. Little reference to the clinical trials completed. The point is this interview was not to paint an accurate portrait of the subject (jelqing), and then discuss it’s viability. It seems to me like the point was to discredit it categorically.

I mentioned PE to my urologist around 6 weeks ago, when I went in for my vasectomy consultation. That doctor also categorically denied any effectiveness and recommended I cease pursue of it, as a hobby. When I probed more deeply, the doc was unfamiliar with any of the specific methods involved or any of the studies published regarding traction devices, so I abandoned that line of inquiry. I also brought up some alternatives to vasectomy that are in use in some other countries and going through FDA trials here in the US. Namely RISUG approved in India, and it’s US equivalent Vasalgel. Completely unaware of those things either. That should be at the top of a practicing urologists list of topics to keep abreast of, but like most doctors today, continued education and research gets in the way of how many office visits and procedures you can pack into a day.

If they promoted jelqing, they’d have half the population pulling on their penis. They would be held responsible for many injuries. Their “data” is just men practicing it for 2 weeks and when a few of them have gains, they disregard it for being optimistic. Many of these “experts” are as clueless as cavemen.

I agree with what every one said about that video. Over a year and a half ago I was 50 to 60 lbs overweight and had my cholesterol checked with the doctor. My cholesterol was dangerously high and he told me to get on a diet and come back in 3 months and if no improvement he was going to put me on a statin drug. I told him I was considering doing the Ketogenic diet. He told me not to do it, too high in fat, dangerous, etc etc. I did it anyways. I was 260 and when I went back after 3 months I was under 200 lbs. I eventually got to 189 at 6’2” tall people started telling me I looked too thin and people thought I was sick. I am no longer on it an maintaining 210 lbs with semi-healthy eating habits. But back to that doctor, took the 2nd blood test after 3 months go by. I told him I’ve been on the Keto Diet since the day I left his office 3 months prior and he actually got pissed off. Next day the blood tests came back and my cholesterol levels were perfect. He told me whatever I was doing, keep doing it. I thought, this guy is something else! Chastises me for going on that diet, then tells me to keep doing it. My point is, just like many here have made, you can’t always trust the so-called experts. Some one should go to that urologist, have him measure, then go on a PE routine, then go back and prove him wrong. I bet his tune would change and he would probably say, “keep doing what your doing!”

Same here. 52 and a documented extra inch in girth and probably only 1/3 inch in length.

Personally, I think it is possible to gain length.

Problem for me is that when I try stretching or hanging, I have not yet found a way to maintain a good grip without injuring myself or pulling skin. Being uncircumcised does not make it any easier.

As for jelqing, have not found a way to do it without getting injured.
