I’m new to this forum, came here because I’m interested if the myths are true. Jelqing, stretching, pumping, do they work? To be honest I was already convinced that all the commercials for PE are frauds so they can make a lot of money.

But there was one time when I went on a trip with a buddy of mine who is just about to become a doctor and he doesn’t believe or accept nothing if it’s not science based/confirmed with absolute evidence. So there was one time when I made fun of him and he got hurt and as a response said “well you have a small dick”. After fooling around on the topic I seriously asked him,”but seriously, is it possible to make it bigger?” And he said “yeah you can. You need to stretch it for few days without breaks and the cellular division will start and penis will stay longer. It’s science based like stretching the skin tissue with earrings. The only problem becomes that you need to pee and you need to have blood flow so your penis doesn’t get injured.” So my question to you guys is: are you depending on cellular division process or muscle building - when you tear the tissue and let it heal? Because these are two totally different things.. Science based, I only see the first option as possible. Has anyone tried to hang or stretch their penis for three or more days straight? The sleeping part is the hardest probably.

Also, you don’t need to stretch it for a few days with no break, this isn’t even physiologically possible (he didn’t say that?), you need to stretch it for around 6-9 hours per day and take a couple of minute breaks every hour or so.

Edit: We depend on cellular division I guess.

As the penis is not a muscle I dont know how it would make sense to use a muscle building process to make it bigger.

He’s going to be shocked when he finds out how much “absolute evidence” is rule-of-thumb, sounds-like-a-good-idea, that’s-the-way-we’ve-always-done-it, because-we-said-so, shut-up-and-don’t-rock-the-boat, academic papers that have little or no data to back them up, and experiments that can’t be replicated.

Another hypothesis about growth:
The various tissues we concern ourselves with are mostly “extracellular matrix”. It’s mostly specialized proteins which are scattered with the cells which make and maintain that protein structure.

All parts of the body are constantly being regenerated and remodeled. So it’s reasonable to hypothesize that we’re tricking the extracellular matrix to take a different (larger) overall form as it’s undergoing the normal regeneration process.

Difference?

This to me seems the most logical explanation, but then I see the only method that works is stretching 6-9 hours like you wrote.

But how do you then get the girth gains? I’ve read a lot about pumps and jelqing but isn’t it useless because after 1 hour session your penis gets back to normal state and isn’t 1 hour to short for new cells to be formed?

They say that after jelqing your ligaments are healing, but how can it heal if your penis is not a muscle? Then it will “heal” back into an actual penis size no? I accept the terminology about combination of jelqing + stretching with extenders. (because you’re forcing your penis to stay in a new state longer time and then it’s starts adjusting with new cells being divided-created)

But then again I hear many times about kegels that are activating certain muscles in penis and can help with girth gains. Is that true? (here the question about muscle building and so called healing becomes a possibility.)

I understand the theory on stretching for enough period of time because it’s proven. It’s just harder to understand why jelqing ALONE for only one hour per day would work.

Has someone had results with jelqing only?
