If you stick with this long enough, you will have the opportunity to try several routines and pick the one that is best for you.
I have tried no time off, 6 on and 1 off, 2 on and 1 off, and am currently doing 2 on 1 off, 3 on 1 off which adds up to 7 days. On my off days I do my circuit training. The best part about this schedule is that I know Mondays and Fridays are my pumping iron days and all the rest are pumping cock days.
There is no secret that is best other then to not give up.
