Why does it look small to me

I have been looking down at my pens for a lifetime. It has always looked small to me. I have been reading post and every average penis size page on the Internet. I can’t figure why I still look small and even the guys with 5 inches look bigger than I do. I measure right at 6 inches in girth, no cheating. I measure 6-1/4 inches in length and just can’t understand why I look so small to myself. My question is this. Is this just some sort of mental block for me and does anyone else feel the same way I do. DOP

At 7 1/4 by 5.5” I sometimes feel the same. When i’m sitting down I always feel much more endowed as my cock curves up nicely to my belly button but when I stand up in the shower fully hard after a jelq session I feel like I have a 5 inch dick (not that there is anything wrong with that size). I’m a pretty big guy at 6’4 so most dicks won’t seem as big on a guy like me, however I have to argue that a good percentage of my perception is mental.

Danni, the best advice I can offer is my assurance that your dick is not small by any means. A six inch girth is fat, most girls will agree i’m sure.

Well for length look in the mirror instead of down, but there is no reason that your dick should look thin to you

Well I can’t speak for all of you guys but I know I’m not that big like a little more than 6 3/4” NBPEL and 4 3/4” girth but it might be just in comparison to your body. I look tiny to me but I’m 6 feet 2.5 inches tall and have a pretty broad frame so I guess I would want a unit that looked proportional to my size. That’s just me though.

If you have 6 inches of girth who cares what it looks like. It only matters what it sounds like when you bend her over.

Six inches girth! I wouldn’t worry. On the length, I know how you feel. I’m 7x5, but when I look in the mirror in down at it in the shower it looks like it shrunk 2 inches. It got me thinking about the quality of my erections. It seems to get it a little harder seems to add 1/4 inch or more. 7” is my max, but normally it’s not that long, usually even during sex.

I think that at least partially it is some sort of mental block. Lots of guys here have experienced exactly what you are describing.

Thanks Fellows, I am 6’2 inches tall and weigh right at 200 pounds. I really hadn’t thought about my size being some of the problem of why I think I look small to myself. I guess I would like to see my penis longer to match up more with my body. Unless you are really long I don’t think the women can really tell too much about length. I have had women tell me I feel big to them when they didn’t have the chance to fondle me before sex. I guess an inch one way or the other in length really can’t be felt by the woman, or can it? I think they feel more of the girth difference than length difference. Now when you get 2 to 3 inches in length difference I am sure they can tell. I have always wondered about this, can a woman tell if she has a 5” verses a 6” penis in her. How much size wise can they tell about a man if it is unseen before sex. Your thoughts? DOP

Prior to PE I never got a single comment about my size. After I gained about 3/4” in length and 1/8” in girth I started to get comments. My gains brought me up to about 6 1/2” NBPEL and 5 5/8” EG. Of course my gains gave me a bit more confidence and I started going for the younger women. Maybe the 19-20 year olds I started sleeping with hadn’t been around as much as the 25-30 year olds I was sleeping with before my gains. Hard to say. Then again, when I was in my early 20’s and sleeping with women my age I didn’t get any comments. Maybe a 3/4” difference does make a difference after all.

I’m exactly in your position, with pretty much the same exact stats (see sig) and height/weight/frame type. I always knew I had more girth than other guys but I was concerned about the length. Once I found out the averages I felt a lot better even though I still think I look kinda small in the mirror and stuff. However, it gives me a lot of good motivation to do PE :)

It looks small to you so that you will guard it, take care of it, and keep it safe.

I can relate mate. I’m a little above average and my flaccid length is usually a little over 4 inches. But it always looks like a “pee-pee” to me, rather than a “cock”.

Part of my problem is body image and my own head games. But part of it is body. I’m about 6’3”, 215 pounds, with 27 inch thighs from working out. So when I look in a mirror it’s like seeing a popsicle framed against a couple of oak trees.
