Why Is It So Easy To Overtrain?
I consider myself pretty experienced with PE having done this now for 20 months and producing 1-1/2” of length gains.
I have made a ton of mistakes along the way due to being too aggressive at times but in focusing on getting past my current plateau I have given in and am trying to do it right/correct.
To do this I took a real Decon break followed by easing back into things only doing stretching 4x a week with dynamic pumping on the off days to stimulate additional blood flow.
I committed to serious PI monitoring (in the past I would just chemically assist when PI’s started to decrease) and am shocked at how easily my unit can be over trained even with just a basic intensity progression. I would really expect that 20 months into this it would take more then it does to overtrain.
So, I am backing things off for a couple of days until PI’s are solid and then going back two weeks in the routine progression and working back up… uhhhg.
