Am I ready to resume training?/sensation loss

Am I ready to resume training?/sensation loss

Some of you may remember that I have been forced to take a complete break from PE activity due to concerns about loss of sensitivity (primarily in the base area of my cock).

I have rested now for over a week and I think I can fairly safely say (partly in retrospect) that I had indeed experienced some loss of sensation.

The problem is: I’m just not sure how recovered I am. So I want to give you guys an idea of where I am and ask you a couple of questions.

At no point during this episode have I lost the ability to get an erection. I can still bring myself to orgasm and make myself cum, no problem. I wake up with a good morning glory, so no worries there.

If I stretch out my flaccid cock a little, and run a fingernail from the glands/top of shaft, right down to the bottom of the shaft I can feel it all the way. It is more sensitive at the top of the shaft.

However, if I use the flesh of my fingertip, there is little sensation at the base/bottom to mid section of the shaft.

Now, what I can’t workout is; how much of this is in my head ie. did I have more sensation than this, in the base, and have genuinely lost some due to PE… OR … am I overestimating the amount of sensation there should be in that area of the shaft. I just can’t tell, because of the PEing I have been doing, my perspective has become askew.

So, I suppose the main question is: How much sensation to you have at the base of your cock? (I realise sensation is a difficult thing to describe, but your best efforts will be appreciated)

Thanks a lot people
Ziggaman

Come on peeps. Help me out here.

Im my case, I don’t have much “sensation” near the base of my cock. Not much pleasure arises from that area anyway. Like if a chick were to jack of just the base of my cock in an attempt to make me cum, she’d be there for a good 8 hours probably. Now if you are strictly talking about feeling, then yes, I have feeling at the base of my cock…It isn’t like it’s numb or anything. One other thing I’ve read often is how the base of your cock feels different after PE’ing so long. Almost like that’s the area where new tissue was added and as a result, it’s not as sensitive as the rest of your shaft. Perhaps that could be what you’re experiencing.

The only power a woman has over you is that which you give her.

Thanks Alrdybig

That does sound like a possibility, because the area isn’t exactly numb, but whereas a light stroke on the top of my shaft is arousing, not much is happening around the base.

Hey ziggaman, glad to hear you’re recovering. I would have to describe the “feeling” in my lower shaft the same as Alrdybig - I can feel it, but it’s not exactly sensitive to the touch like my glans. I think it would be safe to get back into the game, lightly at first.

Will do. I’ve been itching to start jelqing again. But I’m still interested to hear other peoples experience with numbness/loss of sensation.
