Anatomy question

Less than one inch below the head of my penis there is a darker colored “band.” It goes around the girth and I’m wondering what exactly it is. Does anyone know what this is or what it’s called? Thanks.

Your circumcision scar. That has to be what it is, unless you are uncircumcised.
