Huh? You were complaining a couple weeks ago (I want my foreskin back!) that you were upset about finding out about the things you lost with your infant circumcision and how you were upset with your parents and how you were considering restoration. Now it’s no big deal? Then what was the point of being upset? Because of your previous posts I would think that your advice to Tricky2 would be to not have the surgery.

I’m confused. What changed your mind?

Tricky it's up to you...

I’ve also read all those articles concerning circumcision, about positive and negative sides. As for me, the reason is more less simple. I prefer the way circumcised penis looks like, plus you don’t have problems with condoms. In Africa almost all man are circumcised due to the tradition or religion, also Jews and Muslims. I am from Poland, and here circumcision is not popular at all because during the 2 World War it was the easiest way to separate Jews from others. My girlfriend, she is African is used to circumcised man, I am ready and decided to do it. If you need any help just send me a not and I will be glad to help you…

Popp - hehe =) I liked your response. I read that study on how uncircumsized males can potentially pleasure their women better due the glide effect and found that quite interesting. I also had a talk with my girlfriend and she said not to do it is well. Her reasoning was simply “why bother.” So for now I suppose it’s a no go, I’m going to switch over to dry Jelqing and hanging soon and hope that the foreskin I consider “excess” backs off a bit. The optimal amount for me would be to have around half the glans covered while flaccid.

BUT on top of this I have managed to aggrevate an old injury and tore my frenelum. Which has happend before from manual stretches but this time I actually noticed some bleeding. That’s another reason i was pondering the circumcision.

Tricky it's your body

I’m 45 years old, uncut and have thought about doing this in the past before also. In the end I decided against it. Why?

1. Being uncircumcised has never given me any problems.
Why should I change something if it’s not causing any problems?

2. If I decided afterwords that I didn’t like being cut then I would have to go through the process of trying to restore it again.

3. Trading in my foreskin for a scar didn’t seem to be a good cosmetic trade.

4. The last reason was Sex!
Almost every women, including my X and current wife, has made a comment on how much they like the way it feels.

I figure if the novelty of having a foreskin gives me an edge in the sack then that’s one hell of good reason to keep it. :)

Like everyone else has said though Tricky, it’s your choice in the end.
I just wanted to share my personal reasons for not doing it.

Before I was acting like it meant alll the difference in the world and my entire life was ruined because of it. Now which belief do you think is more sensible???

Also, I learned not to believe anything I read on the internet exactly as it is written, because some of it is not true at all. Also, why fucking complain when I can’t do anything about it? I will never have a foreskin…big deal….Life gets much worse. If a female is going to complain because ‘it doesn’t feel good’ then why bothre with this particular person? they are obviously shallow. Love is not about trivial things like these…

Lastly, I didn’t and wouldn’t have chosen to do it, it was chosen for me…it would be different if I had chosen to do the surgery, but it was not anything I could do something about.

Well, I dont know where these “surveys” get their info. I’ve talked to girls on different occasions over the years….and the general consensus has been they preferred the look of a “cut” penis. I remember one girl quite distinctly saying “EWWW!” at the thought of giving an uncircumcised man oral sex. I know…just keep it clean and you’ll never have any problems…..Regardless….I’m GLAD I am circumcised. It will stay a family tradition.

So should we sexually mutilate baby girls to improve the cosmetic appearance of their genitals, so men will enjoy giving them oral sex more?

The thing that gets me is that men get this load of guilt heaped on them because some adult women choose to surgically alter their bodies to look more appealing to men, and if it weren’t for us superficial male pigs, they wouldn’t have to, blah, blah, blah. When the fact is, baby boys are being compelled to be surgically altered by the millions for the same sorts of cosmetic reasons right under our noses, and the world doesn’t care.

I DONT CARE!!!! Wipe your nose and quitcher whinin!! It’s not as traumatic of an ordeal as some people make it out to be…if you miss your foreskin that damned much you can stretch your skin and get it back.

Balanced discussions?

Hmmm. It seems if one isn’t in the “pro-circ” camp one shouldn’t post. Thanks for the warning.

You seem to have understood almost nothing of what I said.

The main concern is not with the “ordeal” of circumcision. That, to me, is a minor issue, except for that smallish fraction of circumcisions that result in major trauma to the penis and can permanently damage/destroy it. What is a major issue is that it seems to be messing up the fundamental biology of how sex with a woman is supposed to work; a man’s brain circuitry reacts in approximately the way it would to a partially amputated limb, which may well be one reason so many men have trouble controlling their sexual responses.

Just try growing that brain circuitry back.

As for foreskin restoration, do you have any idea of how much work that takes? Why should other people be able to impose a burden like that on me? And even if/when you’ve succeeded, it’s still nothing like the original model. True, it covers the glans, but it doesn’t have the fine touch receptors that the original skin did, or the nerve connections to the brain.

Someday, people are going to realize that cutting baby boys’ ears off just because a bunch of screwed-up American women say that it looks better that way — none of those floppy earlobes and Ross Perot-style ears protruding weirdly — is a truly shocking thing to be doing to baby boys. Ditto with circumcision.

Well it can take up to 3 years. Now, THREE years of your life can’t be too much time to devote to something if you want it THAT bad. Also, the amount of time involved may decreas if restoration becomes a little more popular. But, you talk of also the nerves being lost, but truth be told, some of those very parts you are talking about you would be lucky to still have (had you not been circ’d) and a lot of older men don’t have all their original parts. The way I see it, not much is lost if you still have enough sensitivity to reach climax. Some woman can’t even do that, given circ’d or uncut sex. If you restore, it will do everything except bring you those nerve endings back. First, it may end the possibilty of premture ejac. It can also make your climax more intense. It makes it easier and more and enjoyable for the women. I think the biggest thing of all is the sensitivty that is restored to the glans. It allows the excess skin to peel off so your nerves can be reached. As for the nerves, I don’t worry about that, it’s not that big a deal to lose some nerves. I am not in any way advocating cricumcision, just trying to convince people not to make such a big deal of it, considering nothing can be done about the original foreskin. I don’t think it should continue to go on, but it has for many many years, and I don’t think much can be done about it, unless religion is totally abandoned. I don’t think people will do this though, so expect it to go on with a certain percentage.

Anyway, if there is no sex in heaven, then why is it called heaven?

Want some candy?

ha! i was talking to one of my buds who is circumcised and he said one of the arguments for it
is that “circumcision reduces the chances of urinary tract infection”
this i had to laugh at and i said to him “so then we should cut off women’s breast to reduce the chances of
breast cancer?”

just another thought i had to add.

*Circumcision does NOT prevent masturbation! :D

Want some candy?

another note to Tricky2:

usually they dont remove the frenelum.

About frenullum...

Actually, when you will talk to your urologist he will (at least he should) ask you if you want to keep your frenullum or you want it to be removed.

By the way, during the adult’s cirumcisicion you may be exposed to take a decision if you want it to be…

1) High and Tight, that means more outer foreskin is cut away and the scar is about half way up your penis
2) Low and Tight, that means more inner foreskin is cut away and the scar is very close to the corona of your penis

Good luck…
