guys, what is this, how do I exercise it and what are the benefits?

Its the muscle you use when kegeling this was thought to be the PC muscle but is in fact the BC! Read this it makes more sense than me.

Is it the same muscle group used to stop urine flow?

Not really. There is a sphincter muscle at the bladder neck that is normally constricted. When you want to urinate you actually open the sphincter by contracting it. Urine flow stops when you stop contracting the sphincter.

The bulbocavernosus (BC) is used to squirt that last bit of urine out of the urethra. Since that and the closing of the sphincter usually happen at about the same time, it’s easy to assume that the BC has something to do with stopping urine flow.

So what’s the actual purpose of the PC?
