Beta-blocking medicine decrease penis length

I start with a little description.
For about 2 years I have been taken a medicine for a little bit high blood-pressure (140/85). During this time I had almost everytime extrem shrinkage during the day.

But when I stopped the medicine for about two weeks ago I have seen a big difference. I also started to PE at that time because the penis shriveled extremly after PE-sessions before so I thought it whas hopeless to do it.

But the thing is, I don’t know if it was from the PE or the medicine or a combination but I was 5.9 inches for about one month ago and know I am 6.5 inches. I have a bigger flaccid and not shrinkage during the day, only when I train and when I’m cold. And not so extreme as before. The EQ is better and the penis seems more full and heavier.

So if you take medicine against your blood-pressure, try to stop it and find other ways to reduce it, like training and meditation.

Let your penis work full, not only 60%…

First, you should not just quit taking a beta-blocker. You should wean yourself off one gradually unless your doc tells you otherwise.

Blood pressure is an element in your life that you need to monitor carefully. Hypertension does damage and you will have no awareness of that happening.

If you don’t like the beta-blocker, as your doc for another B/P med. There are so many to choose from these days.

Btw, I took a beta-blocker for years. Still do. I never got the shrinkage you have experienced. Could there be another element operating in this shriveling?

Keep in mind that nobody ever died from penile turtling. But thousands die daily from the effects of hypertension.

You are probably onto something there. I was on a beta blocker for 2 years, right during puberty (13-15). I should have sued the fucking doctor! I consider that one of the main reasons I didn’t “develop” the way I should have, and how the other men in the family did, dad, brother, cousins, etc. I started PE at age 27 at 5.5 EL and 4.375 EG. Pathetic. Thank God PE has worked for me, at least to some degree.

Reason I was on Inderal (propanolol) was supposedly a preventative measure because I was getting migraine headaches pretty bad at the onset of puberty. It was later learned, all I had to do was quit eating peanuts/peanut butter, that was the trigger. It was not hormonal. What a bummer.

I had wean myself off gradually, not in the penis case, because i didn’t need them anymore. I am well trained and only had problems with a stressed body and after 2 years the body produce new alfareceptors, so the medicine is useless.

But thanks for your text. But i think the shrinkage was a bi effect of the blocker because it made the blood vessels to shrink on the whole body and my hands turned cold, and also the penis.

So the meaning with this is, if you have bad blood-circulation, with or without medicine, do something about it because it decrease your penis-size, often because of weaker erections.

Okay, I have also eaten Inderal and also a medicine called Seloken. For me, it had make more many things in the body more than

Took Propranolol for three years and definitely had penis problems.

My penis started to shrink, didn’t care because I was depressed at the time.

Then I started to experience painful erections and I also discovered painful lumps inside the shaft of my penis.

This bothered me, so I visited my doctor who said that it was the beginnings of Peyronies disease.

All of this caused me great unhappiness and I became even more depressed.

Luckily, a Google search for “Peyronie’s Propranolol” yielded interesting results.

I ditched the Propranolol and the condition gradually reversed itself (what a relief).

Obviously, I’m much happier now and I advise my friends to think twice before taking Propranolol.

I must add, that I took Propranolol for a dermatological condition. Not high blood pressure!

Hypertension is a deadly disease and you must discuss this with your doctor, there are always alternatives.

Interesting that more of you have this experience. If someone here eating medicine for the moment and feel that the penis isn’t working as it should be, maybe its time too look for a new medicine, often there are alternatives without this side-effects.

Now, after 4 months without the medicine I will update with a few positive things and a few negative things. Both PE related things and other things.

Positive:

* The penis does almost never shrink anymore, compared to before when it was shrunk almost every time.
* My resting heart rate has gone from about 70-90 to 50-70.
* My sleep is better and I get morning woods again sometimes, when I ate the medicine they were gone.
* I don’t have to pee as much as before
* I get more relaxed after a training than before.

Negative:
* Headache some days

I talked to my doctor and he said that these medicines should only be used my persons who can’t decrease their blood-pressure because of a disease.

In my way, the problem was stress on the body and with exercises its better now.

So, if you overweight and have high blood-pressure, think about your lifestyle instead of stuff your body full of medicine.

Well the worst is over now. I know high doses of Adderal do the same thing to my penis, alot of my friends are still taking it. I tried to get them to stop. If effects me more though, because I’m so thin, and sensitive.
