Ok, I’m serious about going through a porn detox and all the brain resetting that comes with it. I definitely have porn-induced ED and have to rely on drugs to get hard without porn.

In everything I’ve read, you need about three months to completely rewire your brain. During the next three months I’m giving up all porn and masturbation.

So, my question is: should I also stop PE as well? More or less just stop tocuhing my dick until the brain re-setting is complete?

I’m currently on a no porn diet as well, I’ve gone solid for about 22 days quite easily, but I’ve found it quite hard to stop masturbation all together, I’ve continued to do PE however and it has definitely helped my EQ…..
increased nite, morn wood, general hardness, onset of erection etc….

So i think just limit your masturbation as much as you can, still stay away from porn as u will, but continue to PE, its certainly helping me, but I’m probably less in the know than you and some vets should shed some light on this :)

yes, it was all over the shot, sometimes i could get an erection and blow within 10 seconds, mostly within 2 minutes… some times i would come at all,
sometimes i would get hard, and halfway along i would just go limp, sometimes i just wouldn’t get hard at all, and i never get erections prior to sex if i don’t have physical stimulation…

It Sucks, but i do blame it on heavy masturbation to porn, so I’ve cut back, cold turkey on the porn front and i can maintain erections easier, but i have been kegeling like there’s no tomorrow as well, but either way I’m improving, slowly…..

Thanks for the reply. That’s probably a good idea - I’ll stop porn, masturbation, and PE - with the exception of kegels - until things get better with my erections.

I’d keep up the PE. It will keep your dick healthy during your detox. Personally I’d hold back on frequency of masturbation, I wouldn’t think you have to stop that completely if you’re not doing it to porn. Maybe once a week to keep the pipes clean. ;)

If you can PE and hold off masturbation, that might be good too, but if you gotta do it once in a while I wouldn’t sweat it. I’m curious about your results.

When did you notice that you had a problem with your erections? Did your ED start while you were already watching porn?

My problem is I’ve been watching porn for the past 14 years or so. I didn’t used to have a problem with erections, but now it’s just terrible. I’ve been checked out by a doctor, and I can get hard to porn, so it’s not a physical problem.

Partially true… Although going to kid functions and seeing people in my age group, I gotta say people in my age group are fatties. I’m not talking about a few pounds overweight, I’m talking on women they’re all a minimum of 25 lbs overweight going much higher. Probably not much better for the men too, I see beer bellies but I’m not really looking for that.

Don’t just do it for your partner, do it for your own health. No wonder so many Americans are getting diabetes.

Ok, so after thinking long and hard (yes, pun very much intended) I’m going to give up everything during the brain resetting period. No PE, porn, or masturbation. I’ll do some light kegels, but that’s it.
