More a motivation type thing. I know it is very motivating and a good feeling if someone drops in on your progress thread regularily to give an ‘attaboy’ or input.

That would be a huge aspect of it. I doubt this thing will take off now I’ve heard a load of opinions.

I think the way things are is for the better. It allows discussion and sometimes through discussion we make new developments.

As a newbie, it would be awesome to have someone showing me the ropes the way through. I know I will stick to the newb routine for awhile and assess gains, but still after reading for hours and hours and hours, it seems to get confusing where to go from there.. I want to make the best of my time.

Guess I’ll just keep reading in the mean time

Anyway, it’s not a bad idea, but I think forum works better because of variety of opinions. People are subjective in approach to PE and that would probably affect the outcome of what is passed on to a newbie. Audacia and I are perfect examples for our different approaches, I’m sure his "school" would affect newbie’s mindset differently than my "school".

I personally would never let only one person guide me because I like to do research on my own. Whenever I think of something new to try out, I search the forum thoroughly and read about it everything there is to read.

Oh, and I wouldn’t want to be responsible for someone injuring himself.

No, this was just a conceptual idea and no one thought it would really be very practical. If you have any questions or need anything you can PM me or anyone for that matter. Most if not all of the moderators are intelligent and know so much about PE among other things.
