And answering to your post, If I am not mistaking, The circumcision was suggested by God as a sign of the alliance with Jewish people. After the creation, the Gods stayed on the earth for thousands of years; in the last centuries, they just stayed orbiting earth watching the progress of the creation. Yahweh, our creator, who was very close to humans because as a chief engineer of this mission, it was his idea to create a new specie in their image and likeness, promised to come back some day; he decided the land of Jerusalem would be his next stop. Abraham was one of his great prophets, and unconditionally, he spread the word of the Lord. And here we are today.
