If they mean that, it’s probably the same recommendation that I’ve heard.

1 oz = 0.02835 kg

0.02835 kg x 8.8 x 8 glasses = 2.0 kg

2.0 kg of water = 2.0 litres

Anyway, like I was sayin’, water is the water of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey’s uh, water-kabobs, water creole, water gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There’s pineapple water, lemon water, coconut water, pepper water, water soup, water stew, water salad, water and potatoes, water burger, water sandwich. That- that’s about it.

I don’t know in terms of “gallons” but I definitly get my 64 oz of water a day. I am well over that, maybe in the 100 range.

I wonder what caffine does for sperm production etc… I no carbonated drinks aren’t good for you, which is one reason I stopped, but water taste so good. I need to start adding lemon to mine. They say thats good for you to.

I seem to remember reading that it’s expected that some of those 8 “glasses” actually come from food, so you don’t actually need to drink 8 glasses… but it probably wouldn’t hurt. I think a better guide to use is the color of your urine. If it’s clear, you’re getting enough (barring a few foods/supplements that can color it).

Water poisoning...

Here’s something I wanted to let people know about just so nobody goes overboard on water consumption.

“The fact that water can cause fatal overdoses is not well known. Often called “water intoxication” or “hyponatremia” (low salt)1, water poisoning results when too much water is ingested in too short a time without replenishing electrolytes, particularly sodium and potassium.

The human body (as with other animals) maintains an equilibrium of electrolytes in the bloodstream as part of its normal operation. Sweating causes the body to lose salt, but the primary cause of hyponatremia is drinking enormous amounts of water, which dilutes the salt in the body to a dangerous level. As the electrolyte levels get dangerously out of balance, body systems begin to fail and the sufferer exhibits signs of crisis such as diarrhea, over-salivation, stupor, vomiting, muscle tremors, confusion, frequent urination and other general symptoms of illness, and their brain begins to swell. This swelling is called a 'brain edema' or 'cerebral edema' and can lead to brain damage, paralysis, and sometimes death.

How susceptible one is to the dangers of hyponatremia seems to be partially dependent on body weight, how much food is in the system, and other factors not yet understood which make up individual variation in response. The body has a system for regulating electrolyte balance and it eliminates excess fluids through urination. Some people's urine regulation systems (partially controlled by Anti-Diuretic Hormone [ADH], also called vasopressin) do not respond as quickly in some circumstances.

Health professionals recommend taking electrolytes dissolved in liquid or eating salty snacks when drinking large amounts of water to make sure that a proper balance is being maintained. For instance, sometimes when people are trying to avoid an alcohol hangover, they may drink (or have their friends force them to drink) more water than they would normally drink. In such cases, salty crackers, chips, or some other kind of salt source can help the body absorb the water and eliminate it properly without risking further throwing the electrolytes out of balance.”

Drinking at least 8 oz. of water every hour keeps junior flulled most of the day. I take no supplements, except zinc. Of course, the more time you obstain from sex the further you can shoot.

Any sup that is dry powder will dehydrate you, even creatine. This is why they recommend drinking so much water with the sup. I’m not saying cut down on water. Water is our friend, especially in PE. I drink 2 gal a day for flaccid hang, load size and weight loss and it works well for all three. But I agree having to remove any ADS every 20 min to piss is a pain. Easier to piss through golf weights.
Instead of taking all that arginine, take NOX2 instead. It works much better and is cheaper, and taking in less powder will help you stay hydrated better.

While I agree with most, if not all, of what you say how the hell do you get through 2 GALLONS of water per day??

I get through 8 pints roughly, which is the equivalent of 1 gallon and that leaves me in a constant state of needing to go piss maybe every 30-45 mins so god only knows what double that amount would do to me!?

And how are you getting the time to get so much water into your system?

BTW- I have read somewhere before that if you drink too much water it then starts to wash nutrients OUT of your system. Can anyone confirm or deny this claim?? Actually I 1st heard it being said by an athlete who started being plagued with terrible cramps which he attributed to excessive water intake?

Anyone care to elaborate this theory if possible?

after the first day of high water intake i do feel allot better eq’s , got woken up about 4 in morning with super horney boner which needed to be actioned asap. the high water , i think one of the reasons im getting home from work and just passing out for 2 hours is that im dehydrated , so as well as PE reasons im gona see how this effects next weeks work and life balance also.

From what a doctor told me you don’t have to drink 2 litres of water a as long as your urine is a light yellow and not dark. Drink too much water, can be dangerous if done continuously to the point some people have died. Because it unbalances the sodium/ potassium ratio. A woman died this year from drinking too much water.

Drinking too much water can eventually cause your brain to swell, stopping it regulating vital functions such as breathing, and causing death. So what happens?

Water enters the body when we drink and is removed primarily in the urine and sweat. The amount of water in the body is regulated to control the levels of certain compounds, such as salt, in the blood.
If you drink too much water, eventually the kidneys will not be able to work fast enough to remove sufficient amounts from the body, so the blood becomes more dilute with low salt concentrations.
“If you drink too much water it lowers the concentration of salt in your blood so that it is lower than the concentration of salt in cells,” says Professor Robert Forrest, a consultant in clinical chemistry and forensic toxicology at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield.
Confusion
The water then moves from the dilute blood to the cells and organs where there is less water. Professor Forrest likens this to the effects seen in science-class experiments.

“If you put salty water on onion skin the cells will shrink, if you put too much water on it the cells will swell,” he says.
This swelling is a problem in the brain.
“When the brain swells, it is inside a bony box so has nowhere to go,” he says. “The pressure increases in the skull and you may get a headache. As the brain is squeezed it compresses vital regions regulating functions such as breathing.”
Eventually these functions will be impaired and you are likely to stop breathing and die. Warning signs included confusion and headaches.
Symptoms would normally occur very soon after drinking the water, but if the gut is absorbing the water more slowly then it can take longer.
Drinking several litres over a relatively short period of time could be enough to cause water intoxication. Those most at risk include people taking ecstasy, as the drug increases thirst and facilitates the release of anti-diuretic hormones so more water is taken in but cannot be excreted. Also, elderly people because their kidney function may be impaired.
Treatment for drinking excess water is “relatively straightforward”, says Professor Forrest. It includes giving patients diuretics to help decrease their water load, or using drugs to reduce the swelling caused by excessive water.

Ursula Arens, of the British Dietetic Association, says water is essential for a variety of bodily functions, for example to excrete waste products such as urea.
We lose water all the time and so need to replace it and in normal circumstances should aim to drink about one and a half litres every day, she says. During hot weather or exercise more should be consumed as dehydration can lead to bad breath, tiredness and a higher risk of bladder infections.
“If you are going to the toilet more than once every two hours or so that might be too much, especially if your urine is clear,” she says, but adds that drinking too much water is unusual.

i think this is where people take it to the extreem a little though, ive also read that its a great idea to drink warm water with squeesed lemon juice in the morning, lemon water for good benifits also. so far so good with the drinking lots of water, it has made an improvement on my PE so far i am hanging fuller, than before.
