When I was in Ireland, years ago, I ran into a lot of Australians. Since Foster’s had just started getting advertised heavily in America, I asked each one if Australians actually drank it. They all invariably said the same thing, but the best response I got was “Aww no, mate, that’s camel piss we ship off to the wankers.”
Actually most beers from Carlton and United (brewery) pritty much taste the same and cost pretty much the same price.
Fosters isn’t actually that bad though, it’s the VB that I really hate.
