Dry jelqs or Wet jelqs

If I want to gain length and girth is it better to do dry or wet jelqs. A guy on here said wet because dry would give me loose skin. I’m tryna make it to 7 nbp. I’m a little above the first mark after 6.5, so I’m close. I have started back to the basics, and started jelqing and stretching, as opposed to the pumping I was doing. I need girth to though at only 4.5. Maybe I could throw in some squeezes or extreme uli’s with the hose clamp.

If you are “trying to” make it to 7” from 6.5” the skin will have to loosen anyway.

When I dry jelq it is the skin that moves rather than my hand moving over the skin when lubricated doing wet jelqs.I think both wet or dry will loosen the skin to some extent.

For your routine,you can jelq,stretch and still pump.

For me, “back to basics” is the wet jelq. It’s messier, and more time consuming, with the proper preparation and all, but the benefits outweigh these minor inconveniences.

I try to do both wet and dry jelqs. Infact, I try to fit in dry jelqs all the time in my daily routine. i.e. after going to the bathroom.

I only do wet jelqs, they are far more practical when you first get your routine together. I do stretches whenever I have the chance, after bathroom etc..

So is one better than the other for length, and girth

The wet jelq is less “invasive” for me. What I mean is that I can maintain a wet jelq session for as long as I want to with no adverse effects, i.e., chaffed skin, irritation, etc. and I can really get more blood into my shaft and glans.

My pecker looks and feels like a red hot giant chili pepper after wet jelqing for a half hour or so. I can’t say the same with the dry jelq.

Wet jelqing ROCKS!! Have I made myself clear? :D

P.S. Over a four month period, I gained two inches + BPEL and three inches + flaccid length, with an inch + increase in girth, both flaccid and erect, mainly based on the wet jelq. By the way, my jelq sessions lasted at least an hour, each day, every day, with rare breaks, for those four months. Does this tell the tale? :D

I think wet jelqs are the best at the start, as your getting used to PE and perfecting your technique.

I still use lube when I dry jelq, lube is great for getting erections fast and easy. I just squeeze tight enough to pull the skin with it and get a nice strong stroke. I find they get the job done way better for me, with a much better post session pump effect. I don’t get any irritation or anything either.

Now that I’m a “senior member” (2 months old), I think I’m finally catching on to what people mean when they talk about jelqing for length versus girth.

The more flaccid you are, the more jelqing stretches the ligs and tunica in the length direction. You don’t get much girth expansion, except maybe at the head.

The more erect you are, the more you’re maxing out your CCs, which then expand equally (more or less) in all directions under applied pressure. When erect, I’ve observed that my grip doesn’t “bite” as well and tends to slip forward. This makes it harder to pull. So, I think that jelqing when erect is more of a squeeze than a pull, and this is why it tends to expand girth more than length.

Applying this to wet versus dry jelquing, I think that dry jelqing probably works well for girth, especially at high erection levels. It might actually be safer than wet jelqing, where there’s a higher likelihood of uncontrolled slips and consequent thrombosis.

Dry jelquing is probably OK as far as lig stretching is concerned, because it’s essentially the same as stretching. But it appears to me to be less effective for tunica stretching. You don’t get the same “milking” effect on the tunica. I don’t believe lots of short strokes work as well as the longer strokes you get when dry jelqing. But you might be able to make it work with perseverance.

I couldn’t agree with this anymore. I’m a firm believer in the phrase, “keep it simple stupid”. I’ve had nothing but great gains in 1 hour of wet jelqs and 20 mins of stretching each day. Back to basics is great.

I think not. What did me in was the Lazy Ass Stretch, (my version). I didn’t realize that as I was pulling my dick back, hard, I was pulling on the circumcision scar on just one side, my left. That constant hard grip on that one spot surely caused the nerve irritation.

I think the LAS is too risky for me. I don’t simply sit on it, remember. I pull it back and hold it for a half minute to a minute, for many reps. I, obviously, don’t have the kind of control that I need to monitor this stretch, properly.

The wet jelq never caused me any pain or discomfort of any kind. However, I never did the wet jelq at more than 50% erect. Westla is absolutely right about not doing it at or near 100% erection. I think you can gain length and girth, (I did), with long sessions at 30% to 50%. Many members have done so.

BTW, I was able to do longer strokes with the wet jelq with no problem. But I do have more dick to work with.

Since I’m on a “forced break,” maybe I’ll discover that, in fact, I did approach my routine too hard with no breaks. But this would apply to the stretching, (during months nine and ten), and not the jelqing. I had nothing but a positive experience during the first five months or so.
