Dudes, be careful

I just exchanged some PM’s with JAPP, who was a big gainer and a real veteran at PE Forum a few years ago when I was there. Some of you may know that even with his experience, he had a severe injury (he believes it was a torn tunica) that ended his PE career, and that even after a 2-year break still flares up. I know from my own experience how fired up and overzealous I get sometimes for gains. But this just is not like weight-lifting where you can channel all that enthusiasm and energy and desire for gains into the next set of reps. If you do, you are likely to blow something out, or worse. I suspect there are guys who have had REALLY bad injuries who, after the trauma and the emergency room, etc., didn’t have the desire to come back here and talk about it. It’s better to have a 4-inch dick that works than a 9-incher that doesn’t. So at the risk of repeating what has been said a thousand times (JAPP said he’s sick of not being listened to), be freaking careful. We are doing unnatural things to our dicks. If I had thought a few years back that I would be putting the pressure on my dick that I do, clamping it off, and stretching it as hard as I do, I would have been mortified. It’s safe if done right, and I love PE, but guys, after talking to JAPP, I was reminded — this can be dangerous stuff if overdone.

*I measure PRE-WORKOUT, normal erection* Started: 7 EBP x 4.9 EG. Several years on and off PE, now 8.125 EBP length x 5.5 EG midshaft (5.8 base). Working on girth (clamping) again after breaks due to injuries - fast recent gains! Pics

A correction: after 2 years, JAPP is back to manual stretching and light pumping, but no more.

I second your warning, Dangleman. This past summer, I had a slight, I’ve learned since, injury to the nerve near my scar. The pain lasted a couple of weeks, reminding me that as careful as I have been with my PE, there are risks.

I’m much more careful now—just jelqing and a few less potentially harmful stretches—no more crazy ass bends and Lazy Ass Stretches, (my own much more stressful version).

The possible long-term effects of serious injury are just not worth the risks.

VERY important words. Thanks for reminding everyone, dangleman.

Isn’t it incredible how much good feeling, care and support between fellow men is on this site? I’m proud to be a PEer!! (But don’t tell anyone I know) :D

Perhaps this thread should be moved to the Newbie Forum and made sticky. I’d rather risk scaring some newbies away than have somebody end up with an awful injury.

RBM

The problem with making any thread a sticky is that it usually means the kiss of death for that thread and it never gets read again. Shit I pass right over them all the time and there is probably plenty I could learn if I would actually open one and read it.

You all are still missing the point... The story was great and all but should have ass (and) some anal in it.- RWG

So you are saying, slowly, steadily and gently… wins?

I know, make someone else do the work! :-)

I fucked up in my first week. Its slowly getting better though(2 weeks off right now). At first I couldnt even get the last drops out of my penis when I pissed. Now I can PE but if I move the skin it hurts. Not the penis itself but the skin kind of does something that hurts.

Thanks for once-again bringing safety to light!!

Being a newbie it is “VERY” difficult to restrain from over-exerting yourself - but I have managed to focus on the long term goal with the attitude that “less is more”
*shivers as he thinks about stretching his dick with all his might on the first P.E seesion*

Very good thread Dangle. This is a very important part of PE, safety!

How did he get injured??

Dangle,

Thanks for reminding us again. We all want to grow our dicks as fast as possible and it’s difficult to resist pushing the envelope. The last time I had this much anticipation for a new toy, a new and bigger sailboat was being delivered.

I agree this thread should be made sticky. Not everyone RTFM, but there are many that do (I was one of them). I don’t think it would have frightened me, just made me aware of being too eager.

Nice post.

Move a little closer, Honey.

I've got a big prick for you.

This is sound advice - and especially applies to girth-related movements. I’ve read too much scary shit guys were doing, and have seen enough pics of purplish-black clamped cocks, to risk that shit for some more girth. Be especially careful regarding the impaction exercises. Not only does circulatory distress become an issue, but there’s a real risk of some type of blowout when you’re applying unreal stresses to an engorged cock.

Thanks Dangle for bringing it up this is dangerous even when done right but when doing it wrong you have a very good chance of getting hurt. It’s like playing tackle football it’s a lot safer with a helmet on. It really takes a long time to safely grow your dick. I have been pretty lucky in my long PE career to only have a few minor injuries, I had one minor vein problem when I first started and severe bruising from hanging this year. My vein took about a month to heal and I took off three months with bruising and I still have it a little but by using the wench instead of the bib it doesn’t seem to be getting worse. All I can tell you new guys is to be patient and stick with the basics until your unit has time to adapt and deal with the added stress. You really should not be doing squeezes and bends and clamps until you build your dick up and expand your veins to handle the added blood flow.
