ED drugs with phentolamine (Trimix, invicorp) more dangerous priapism?

Phentolamine is alpha adrenergic antagonist, helps dilating vessels. Antidote for case of priapism is alpha adrenergic agonist drugs like phenylephrine and etilefrine. Is it more likely that a agonist does not work if you have taken phentolamine than example if you have taken pge-1?

I had priapism accident few years ago with first injection of invicorp (25ug aviptadil/2mg phentolamine). Effortil luckily did end erection after 5-6 hours. When I used caverject dual (10ug pge-1), I had erection for about one hour.

I had physically perfectly working dick and basic dose of invicorp was way too much. Used it because of mental ED and stupidity.

Btw. Panax Ginseng is thought to be mild a1-adrenergic antagonist that might give a little boost to erection.

I wondered the same, but seems like it contracts the blood vessels anyway. At .500 - .600mg it will cease any erection. (500 - 600 mcg over one hour injections) Up to 1mg.

If that does not work, DO a phlebotomy in the penis with 18 - 21g (3-5 needles in each CC) needles and let the blood go out & collect it. After that store it (with an anticoagulant) or else.

More drugs which cause an erection would mean more drugs which could potentially cause priapism ???

Keep the antidote on hand and you should be fine..

PGE-1 is bio identical to the protein secreted by your own body in the penis. That is why. The other compounds are chemical vasodilators.

I just thought of this out of curiosity.
I will never use injectable ed drugs again after that Invicorp priapism episode. It traumatized me and give fear that I had damaged my perfectly fine working dick. Luckily priapism was so short 5-6h and not painful so it did not leave bad permanent damage.
