I stand by my “racism” as you see it, on the grounds that an eskimo would likely be a far more adept fellow at dealing with the chill of said chest freezer (unless they grew up in vegas).
Anyway to answer your question, what you need to do is find a bonsai eskimo. These are very rare, but a good place to find them is living in 1/25th scale dolls houses sold on ebay (usually in the jacuzzi with some goldfish). It doesn’t matter what colour, race, religion or gender, but it’s imperative that they don’t suffer narcolepsy or watch Coronation street. I would explain why, but people might confuse my practical discrimination with some divisionist heirarchy or plan to rule the world.

Uh so like how long does everyone recommend for the heating and then cooling? Also how many reps and how long for the set in total? This sounds awesome I really hope it works I can’t take too long for my showers but if it say took like 5-10 min only I could definately try it out. I’d love .5” in 2 months do you think those were newbie gains or have you done this for awhile? Thanks.
There are many opinions on that one, but the aim is to heat for whatever time it takes to get the tissues up to temperature. There are some good threads on this one already so I won’t go into detail, but somewhere around 102-104 degrees F should be okay. That’s not so much above normal body temperature, but doing it with a shower might be hard to do since you’re relying on heat transfer through the skin as well as overcoming the blood flows cooling effect which is trying to maintain temperature stasis (basically I’d use an IR lamp instead). As for stretching (and I do mean ‘stretching’ rather than any fibre trauma of most other PE exercises), there’s lots of studies that tend to converge on a hold of 15-30 seconds, and that over 80% of stretch is attained within the first 4 stretches. There are plenty of detailed threads on this too.
