Ex-Smokers: Real-life Effects on PE

Thanks for the encouragement. I went out, had many beers, and did NOT smoke. Not even a puff. I think I might have finally beaten this demonic addiction — but I am not kidding myself. I am no where out of the woods yet. But getting semi-drunk and still having willpower was encouraging.

I don’t think I am going to get any more anecdotes from ex-smokers that benefitted cock-wise after quitting smoking. Although it would be great! But what I am resolving to do it to put my own experiences here, after a couple weeks or whenever I notice a change, if there is one. Then someone else will have this thread for motivation, as well as myself.

I remain,

That is my intention. Good luck to you, for sure.

Here’s my smoking story.

Well, I’ve been on and off PE for a while, but became a member to this site back in March 2005.

From March to May, I gained 0.5 inches in girth and length. I was soooo happy that my gains came quick. I thought I’d be one of those lucky people who just keeping gaining and gaining (and quickly too). So, I got cocky (no pun intended). I started to slack and for some reason (I think it was the warm weather) I decided to start smoking again. It just sort of happened.

Well, long story short, I quit for a while and LOST EVERYTHING. I wasn’t that disappointed for some reason, but I see the EXTREME changes that have occurred. I quit smoking again (5th and hopefully final time). I started PE 3 weeks ago and couldn’t be happier.

I can actually BREATHE. And my lungs don’t hurt, my breath doesn’t smell like shit and my flaccid hang is much better.

All in all, I’ve decided that I have two choices. Have a big dick or smoke cigarettes. I chose the former. I knew I couldn’t have both. Some people can, but not me.

Good luck.

PS - To help you foget about smoking, just do more PE. When you quit smoking, you suddenly realize how much more time you have. Use it for PE. That’s my suggestion. This way, you get into that NEW habit of doing and thinking about PE and not about smoking.

The aim of life is self-development. To realize one's nature perfectly - that is what each of us is here for.

commanderblop,

I’ve quit smoking for 2 weeks and 5 days. Through my experience, I can agree with some of the other guys, my flaccid hang is much nicer. I feel more engorged. In fact, I just measured. When I was smoking, I was lucky to get a 3” hang. Since quitting, my flaccid hang has been about 4.5” This may be not much compared to some of the studs here, but it’s a lot for me. Good luck with quitting man.

How much would you need to smoke a day to actually see the effects of smoking on PE? I’ve been smoking on and off, but more so recently. A pack will usually take me about a week or so to get through. Obviously any amount of cigarette smoke is bad for you, but to what degree do you think it will seriously impact the size of ones package.

jquitar, have you not seen the commercial with the kid and his hand. The hand crumpled the cigarette and threatened him if he was to do it again. The kid did it anyway and from what I have heard through the grape vine, the kid is recovering well, but still faces many years of Penile reconstructive surgery.

Seriously, I don’t know if anyone on here can pin point how many cigarettes you would have to smoke to cause problems with size. I think that the problem comes from your body wanting to make repairs from the smoke and tends to neglect cetain areas. Its like working out, you stress your muscles so your body pulls all available blood and oxygen the them to repair them. hence workout shrinkage. I guess that would be sort of the same principle. Best advice that I can give, quit smoking and use your spare time to do more PE.

Ok, time for the one month update. I am sorry to report that after 30 days of not smoking I have not noticed any PE improvement. :(

Not only that, but I have gained 7-8 pounds!

So…. I am a bit disappointed. But no worries, I am not about to start smoking again. It was too much of a bitch to quit, and I don’t want to throw what I have accomplished away. And as for the weight gain, well hey, I tackled smoking… this month I will join a gym and start an exersize regimen.

I also, I KNOW I am healthier as a non-smoker in the long run, even if I haven’t noticed many improvements so far. My hope is to re-visit this thread 3 months or a year later and talk about how some diamond-cutter non-smoker erections have kicked in… But, one way or the other I will be honest. (Hell, maybe smoking is GOOD for PE, lol. I remember a thread here once claiming that!)

I want to end this on a positive note, so here are a couple non-PE-related benefits:

1. My breath is better
2. I have more disposable income
3. I don’t feel like a loser*

Thanks for the support I have received here! I appreciate it!

*I am not saying smokers are losers… I know firsthand how hard it is to quit once you get hooked. But for ME, I felt like a loser when I smoked because I felt like “How can I be doing something…(deep drag)…I know is absolutely…(puff, puff)…killing me?…(another drag)…”

Nicotine stimulates one of the dopamine receptors in your brain that tells it that you are well fed. It basically short circuits the wiring. That’s one reason ex-smokers tend to gain weight. The other is of course eating more as a displacement activity.

I’d like to tell you a quitting story, but I am still a smoker. Logically I know I shouldn’t be doing it, but I don’t seem to want to bad enough which I know is reckless. I did quit for about 6 months for someone else, and noticed improvements in erection. Well, I noticed improvements in libido as much as erection quality, which was odd. I’m entertaining thoughts of giving up again, but am looking for a way to make me want to, rather than just thinking I ought to. Perhaps quitting would give me the drive to quit(?!?).

Anyway, when I quit last time I used zyban, which completely obliterated any nicotine withdrawal effect. What it didn’t do was get rid of the gremlin that kept nagging me to put a cig in my mouth. I went to a joke shop and bought a fake cigarrette and used that for several nights while out drinking. It was convincing enough that people would offer me a cigarette and I’d hold it up and say “thanks, but I already have one”. Nobody ever noticed it wasn’t real. The only problem with it was that it was made of paper, and soon got damaged. I went back and bought ten of them and put them in a packet, but they’re more expensive than the real thing.

I recently bought some of those clear plastic smoking filters that collect some of the tar and nicotine. Looking at one of those after just one cigarette is pretty off putting. After quitting then restarting I switched brands to the mildest cigarettes on the market in my country (0.1mg nicotine, 1mg tar), and even those produce quite a glob of tar from just one cigarette.

The only bad side effect that I recall, is that because I wasn’t smoking when I was out socialising, I tended to drink a lot faster than everyone else. I had several nights completely out of my tree that people started to notice and comment on. Just something to be aware of (take smaller sips :) )

Shiver, are those the ones that are made basically like a real ciggarette, but are all one big filter? They have these in the States, sold in real looking packs as quitting aids, even flavored with Cinnamon and Peppermint and the like. The nice thing about them is since they’re basically one giant ciggarette filter, you can drag on them, and they actually feel similar to smoking a real one. I mean there’s a resistance to your draw like a real ciggy, not like puffing on a straw.

"It's ALL in your head. You just have no idea how big your head is." - Lon Milo DuQuette "The mind's role in P.E. is more important than the hand that touches the penis." - Mr. Nine Just ignore the crazy old man in his tinfoil-lined pyramid hat, smelling of EVO and muttering Ohhmmm my penis growwwws. He's not always to be taken literally.

The reasons to quit are plentiful. First, sleep. The sinus and throat congestion can really interfere, and only getting four hours gets old real fast. Second, skin.
Wrinkles and skin blemishes go away. Third, exercise. You feel like your body needs it instead of avoiding it, which helps keep the weight off, or at least replace it with muscle. Not to mention numerous and sundry life-threatening and terminating illnesses. Good work, commander. A difficult accomplishment, indeed.

Quitting smoking is hard. Smoking does have negative effect on erections. A good way to counter smoking is to do a lot of sports. This way one will smoke much less and nicotine (and other byproduct crap) will be out of the system much faster. Smoking is really bad when one is physically inactive.

No, they’re just plastic attachments that go on the tip of the cigarette like this: http://www.magic25filter.com/ I have a different brand, but it’s the same idea. Do you have a link for the long filters? I’d be very interested in those.

Jeez! I’ve smoked two cigarettes since I started to read this thread, I think it’s all the stress of seeing the damage I’m doing to the little fellow. Just looked, :nodding: still the same little maggot he always was.

:-k So that’s why he’s not been getting any bigger, well not that you would notice :noreally:

In fact I think he’s actually shrinking! :faint:

For a PEer if you don’t smoke then, the flaccid size who worked so hard for tends to stay for longer. By that I mean that after my PE routine when I had quit for a week it hanged lower for more time. When I started smoking again every time I took a couple of puffs from the cigarette it would just shrink and I’m not kidding, try it out :)

Now I’m a nonsmoker and I’m enjoying the results.

If anyone wants to quit smoking permanently then they should read Allen Carr’s Stop Smoking the EASYWAY book. Just read the book and you’ll become a non-smoker. Well it worked for me, and I was a near-enough chain-smoker.
