Tough question. Don’t know if any definite % lines have been drawn to distinquish grower from shower.
If the average flaccid is about 3.5” (I’m going assume surveys usually do nbpfl and convert this to 4.5” bpfl) and the average bpel is 6.25, then that is a 39% gain.
6.25/4.5 =39%
Let’s take a typical example. Let’s say 3” is average nbpfl, convert that to 4” bpfl, and let’s say 6” bpel is average.
6/4 = 50% gain
In an earler post in this thread I posted (from size data base) 5” fl (nbp?)becoming at 7.25 el.
And I posted 3 fl (nbp?)becoming 5.78 el. Converting these nbpfl to bpfl becomes 6” bpfl and 4” bpfl.
7.25/6 = 21% gain
and
5.78/4 = 45% gain
So examples have been:
4” bpfl 45% gain
4” bpfl 50% gain
4.5” bpfl 39% gain
6” bpfl 21% gain
It is definite that at 6” flaccid you are a shower. I’ll guess you are that bp?
8.5/ 6 = 45% gain
That puts your gain percentage in there with the 4” bpfl gainers, so it seems to me you qualify as a grower.
I’m attempting to put some numbers on this thread and hope to see some other thoughts on how to determine a grower. It’s really just a visual thing as to what really determines it I guess, and these percentages are probably basically useless. At any rate, it looks like the percentages on growing do tend to go down as the flaccid goes up.
crazyed 27, looks to me like you both are a grower and a shower.
