Flaccid vs. Erect ratio

Penis size debate on this issue The Truth About Flaccid Penis Size versus Erection and The Great Equalizer It explains everything about flaccid to erect.

To quickly sum it up. Would a 3" flaccid have the same erect length as a 6" flaccid? The answer is obviously no. Odds are when the 3" flaccid becomes erect it won’t even be as big as the 6" flaccid.

Just as an example my 3" flaccid penis grows 166% to get a NPEL of 4.9 something. A 6" flaccid grows 134% to become 8" Both grow two inches from flaccid to erect.

Start 5.25 BPEL x 4.36 EG

Current 6.2 BPEL x 4.60 EG

But just to add confusion and debate to this, a 3” flaccid and a 5” flaccid could possibly both come out to a 6” erect.

Tough question. Don’t know if any definite % lines have been drawn to distinquish grower from shower.

If the average flaccid is about 3.5” (I’m going assume surveys usually do nbpfl and convert this to 4.5” bpfl) and the average bpel is 6.25, then that is a 39% gain.

6.25/4.5 =39%

Let’s take a typical example. Let’s say 3” is average nbpfl, convert that to 4” bpfl, and let’s say 6” bpel is average.

6/4 = 50% gain

In an earler post in this thread I posted (from size data base) 5” fl (nbp?)becoming at 7.25 el.
And I posted 3 fl (nbp?)becoming 5.78 el. Converting these nbpfl to bpfl becomes 6” bpfl and 4” bpfl.

7.25/6 = 21% gain

and

5.78/4 = 45% gain

So examples have been:
4” bpfl 45% gain
4” bpfl 50% gain
4.5” bpfl 39% gain
6” bpfl 21% gain

It is definite that at 6” flaccid you are a shower. I’ll guess you are that bp?
8.5/ 6 = 45% gain
That puts your gain percentage in there with the 4” bpfl gainers, so it seems to me you qualify as a grower.

I’m attempting to put some numbers on this thread and hope to see some other thoughts on how to determine a grower. It’s really just a visual thing as to what really determines it I guess, and these percentages are probably basically useless. At any rate, it looks like the percentages on growing do tend to go down as the flaccid goes up.

crazyed 27, looks to me like you both are a grower and a shower.

Dunno about this one. Through some specific PE work I went from 2.5 flaccid to 6 but prior to that I already had good erect gains, just no appreciable flaccid gains. Now with a larger flaccid, I don’t have any greater erect size than previously, it’s just that my erect expansion is not as great proportionally as it used to be. I’m not complaining. I like both sizes now.

I do think Sixer’s study reference says most of it. Larger flaccids expand less, proportionally, and smaller flaccids more.

Is it possible for a penis to grow only one inch? That’s only 120% of its original size. (BTW I love the google calculator :) )
I pity the guy with a 3” flaccid that only gets up to 120% making it only 3.6”

beenthere, how did you get this? “6.25/4.5 =39%”

When I tried I got 6.25/4.5=1.38

avocet8 brings up a good point. When I started I believe my flaccid was in the 2 inch range. And now it’s mostly 3+ My erect length hasn’t grown that much so the ratio of flaccid to erect is much smaller now.

Start 5.25 BPEL x 4.36 EG

Current 6.2 BPEL x 4.60 EG

Many things are possible, “they” are consistently inconsistent.

Side note: 39% and 1.38 are just 2 different calcs to get to the same thing.

Maxtro,
SixerMan is correct. For example, I call it a 39% gain (I rounded off 38.888%) because a 100% gain onto 4.5” would be another 4.5”. Since it’s just a 1.75” increase (6.25”-4.5”), and not a 4.5” increase, than that is less than a 100% gain.

In other words, you’re correct that 6.25 divided by 4.5 equals 1.3888. The 38.88% is the extra (the gain) over the original 100% number of 4.5”.

Another way to figure this, and perhaps clearer, is to take the gain of 1.75” and divide it by the flaccid 4.5”. (1.75/4.5). That will come up directly 38.88%.

Ah I think I get it. So if a flaccid was at 2.5” and the erect was 8” that’s a gain of 5.5” Divde the gain by the flacid (5.5/2.5) and that comes up with 2.2 or 220% gain. Which also means that the 8” erect is 320% of the orginal 2.5” flaccid. (320% of 2.5 = 8)

Start 5.25 BPEL x 4.36 EG

Current 6.2 BPEL x 4.60 EG

1.I think flaccid measurements are too hard as they can change so easily eg. temperature, increase or decrease of blood supply etc.

and

2.I have never been happy with claims of 1” or 2” increases in erect sizes.
Percentages should be used. eg 1” gain on a starter of 6”,(16.6%)is different to 1” gain on a starter of 5”.(20%)

Then BP or NBP also shouldnt make a difference. As long as u use the same way of measuring each time.BP or NBP and use percentages based on starter measurement.

5.5x5 BPFL = 10.94 cubic inches
8x5.75 BPEL = 21.05 cubic inches

2.5 inches length increase is a 45% increase, or 145% of the flaccid length
.75 girth increase is a 15% increase…
Volume increased 92% or 192% of flaccid size.

That’s my typicall flaccid size, It does get a little shorter sometimes.

I noticed last night that my semi erect penis (70% erect) was 5.5” girth where as my EG is 5.25”. What does this mean, anyone?

Feb 2003: 7" BPEL x 5" EG. June 2006: 9" BPEL x 6.5" EG

(6" base girth)

bombazine,

That sounds normal. It’s the same thing I experience.

Thanks for the post Beenthere! I enjoyed your figures!

Bomb,

Maybe it’s the tunica tighten around your CC’s. I don’t know for sure, but maybe some of the other Vet’s (Veterinarians) here can shed some light on this….
