HJ,
If you do it long enough, you can get fluid buildup from the extreme Ulis. But it always went down rather quickl for me. It is very intense, and you have to work up to increasing time.
Cap,
>Did you experience any general skin discoloration - mid to long term - that you attributed to extreme Ulis?<
Not really. My entire unit had already become darker from hanging, but I started out pasty white, so this was a plus. I did use arnica, and would remain wrapped and engorged well after I was through with my sets. This would cause fluid buildup, which I think help wash away the discoloration. Sounds strange, but that is what I think.
The only negative I ever found to doing these was a split at the bottom of the urethra from the pressue. It was about like a paper cut, and would bleed a little, but was really no big deal. I found that area, from the bottom of the urethra to the base of the head was where most of the head gains came from. It really expanded a lot.
>By the ten minute mark my entire unit takes on a coloring/hue that would be very unwelcome were it to remain; the skin looks unhealthy, but so far has quickly returned to its normal pigmentation after a set.<
Do you mean dark purple? That is normal. There are several stages to engorgement. With this technique, heat and time, you can experience all of them. First set, you should notice a darker color, and bumps on the head. 2nd or 3rd set, you should notice The upper shaft and head becoming larger. 4th set on, the head should be large, red/purple, and shiny. I always assumed this was maximum engorgement, and where the gains for the day began.
>It is the potential accumulative effect of this that gives me pause.
I have heard a few cautionary tales about long-term discoloration via extreme Uli’s.<
I don’t think you need to worry about it too much.
BTW, has anyone found the original thread for Extreme Ulis? I am sure someone will ask for it.
