Here are some cadaver dissections of our favorite naughty bits.

Those are pretty good but it’s still difficult to see the ligaments.

These dissections differ quite a lot from the diagrams we are used to seeing.

I like the cross section pic the best, a nice perspective. I didn’t even come close to opening up the “anal sphincter” shots.

Yeah, a little difficult to see in some shots. If you put some cranberry sauce next to one of those shots it probably looks like Thanksgiving turkey.

Hey.I’m a med student I was doing dissections all the time.It doesn’t seem that the body in those pictures is very fresh.

Do you med students ever get hungry during your dissections?

Yeah, in fact I’m eating a cupcake, a no no food for diabetics. I’m not a med student, I am a nursing student in which anatomy is required. In my anatomical hey day I held a human heart,lung,kidney,ovary and a couple of testicles. I even dissected a piggy.

It did’t help my Pe session much, though.:D
