Thunder, this has crossed my mind. It is indeed a great idea. Even better, ordering more than one pack at a time means less shipping costs and many more guys could be in on it.

You could get some Rehband or similar knee-wrap neoprene, cut a strip and stitch the ends together. One pair of XL knee-wraps will make a fistful of clamp cushion.

What is Rehband? Where do I get it.

It’s a brand; there are others like it. The material is neoprene. Sports shops and well-assorted hardware stores will have them.

Damn they don’t seem to sell them any more
