Although I don’t hang or pump I do manual stretch and girth routines. I do know what the pump can do though since I used one for about a year a long time ago.
I always stretch before any girth routine. Why? Well as the others have said, girth routines create some fluid buildup under the skin. My girth routine pumps me as the pump used to do but more inside than fluid under the skin.
I have tried several ways to find a good way to hit the ligs. I read in a post before that girth routine wears out the tissues and therefore sets you up for the stretch. In my opinion after a girth session I am too sensitive and sore to do any type of stretch. I’d much rather hit the ligs first, then jelq and hit the ligs again then hit some squeezes to hit the girth. Then after all is done I can maintain the tissue expansion with an ADS system.
Try for yourself. Give each method a week and see what gives you a better feeling.
