Hernia, Post-Op Concerns

I have just had my hernia fixed 3 days ago, and I’ve noticed some changes, I need to know if anyone else’s was like this.

Near the base of my penis, it is much thicker than usual, like an extra layer of fat/skin attached to my penis. It seems shorter too, it normally hangs about 4.5 inches, but ever since the operation, it’s closer to 4-4.25.

The bulging fat/skin part near the base also never changes color, it’s lighter than the rest of my penis. My balls are bigger, and protrude a lot more, acting sort of like a fat pad. I think that’s what making it look shorter.

Has anyone had something similar to this?

It does take some time for things to return to normal. My incision swelled within a few days of the operation and I was sure I had a hematoma forming. Turned out it’s just the absorbable suture doing its thing. Give it time and things should settle down after a couple weeks.

Yea, I’m definitely giving it 2-3 weeks before I even attempt any sort of PE.

Was it an Ingunal Hernia?

How was it caused, weightlifting? How old are you?

Yes It’s inguinal, I’ve had it as long as I can remember. It was on the left side just between my leg and groin area.
