Hmmm, I think I need some help

Hmmm, I think I need some help

Well, I know I need some help, but we’re not going to get into my mental problems here, okay?

Anywho, I have a bump on my penis.

I looked up thrombosed veins and I don’t think it’s what I have.

It is on the underside of my penis shaft about a inch or so from where the shaft and the head meet to the left a little bit.

It feels kinda like a pimple, you know when you get a pimple they get a little sore when you touch it. Maybe an ingrown hair? Either way I think I’ve had this before. I remember having a pimple like thing down there before and popping it. Although this time is different, there is no little white pimple top that was there before. This is hard to expalin so please bare with me here.

There is no discoloration at all, just a bump. On the bump though there looks like there is a little dot like you just pulled out a hair, which is why I’m leaning to the Ingrown hair thing?

It doesn’t hurt at all, it’s only sore when I touch it. I had sex and it didn’t bother my wife. (When erect it’s far back enough that her mouth can’t reach it, and I’m sure it’s hard to feel out of all the other ridges down there)

Anywho, it’s like a good sized pimple, but hard like a litttle peble is under the skin, well maybe not that hard, but I don’t know? Does it sound like a thrombosed vein? There is no visable vein leading up to it.

I’ve stopped jelqing and now just stretch, so who knows? Thanks for your time.

Does it lift away with the skin when you pull the skin away from the shaft? Do you shave this area?

From what you’ve said so far, I would go with the ingrown hair idea.

Definately an Ingrown hair mate. I had one recently myself due to over-zealous shaving of that area. It was exactly as you described. Good luck getting rid of it, shouldn’t be too much of a problem, it wasn’t for me :)

Hair that far up the shaft??? An inch or so below the head?? Damn! I’m one hairy sonofabitch, right behind “major hairy beasty” as my co-workers say and I do not have hair growing anywhere close to the head of my penis… I say it’s something with a vein..

rwg, i was assuming he took that rough measurement when in a flacid state, which would place the inflamed follicle (if indeed that is what it is) much further down when erect due to the consitina type effect of the penis skin when flaccid. My own ingrown hair was indeed about an inch below the head when flacid but when erect was near the base where the classic PE signs of creeping hair are.

Still, I could be wrong.

Errr, now that you say that I would agree with you… I change my vote.

Yeah dig,

I was talking about in the flacid stage. Anywho, my skin/hair condition is all screwed up because I had to have a circumcision as an adult. As a result I have a light trail of hair going all the way to the head. Only on the underside of the shaft though.

So my hair around the base was there pre-PE.

In response to the question: Does it lift away with the skin when you pull the skin away from the shaft? Do you shave this area?

I’d say yes and yes.

If it is an ingrown hair should I jelq? How can I get ride of it? Thanks a bunch. I hate ingrown hair!

Thanks for all the replies.

Major Hairy Beasty? That’s some funny stuff.

I can’t confirm that this is the best or most hygenic way of sorting it out, but what I did was to use a very sharp pin (or needle) and actually dig into the effected area until I was able to get the hair out. It was pretty uncomfortable to do and did result in a bit of a mess of the pimple. But once that hair was out it healed very quickly and was no longer tender. Good luck!

Was the hair easy to find? Did you have to puncture a pretty big hole to find it or did you make multipule holes?

In my case i did have to do some serious digging to find it. I was so pissed off with it at the time that i didn’t care about any pain I just wanted that hair out for good. Made a pretty big hole yes.

Thanks for all the help gorbiewan. I’m sure that it’s an ingrown hair now. Some of the swelling went down and it’s easier to tell now. I’m going to dig it out later.

On the subject though I ran across some stuff called Tend skin lotion, it’s supposed to help remove and prevent ingrown hairs. I get them once in a while and a product like this might help me a bit.

Anyone ever hear about this product? Thanks.
