Honesty has increased at Thunder's Place

I was browsing a bunch of recent threads on a variety of topics, and I realized that I think the Thunder’s Place community has grown in its realism and truthfulness over the years. :up: :up: A few examples:

(1) The most obvious change is many fewer claims of huge, fast PE gains. Posters’ progress reports seem a lot more believable these days; rarely does anyone seem to be striving to become the next big PE guru by claiming massive overnight gains.

(2) Although we still don’t have a huge number of smaller guys “coming out” about their size, there does seem to be more moderation about size claims in general. Many posters seem to have adopted a healthy skepticism about monster-cock folklore, and there seems to be a good deal of respect for the simple facts that are known from studies about the size distribution among men.

(3) More generally, posters seem to feel less pressure to one-up each other. In LLF threads, for example, I see more guys admitting that they aren’t absolute gods in bed, or that they don’t have much sexual experience. Hell, even in the “rate this chick” or “would you do her” threads, I see a greater proportion of guys admitting that they don’t have ultra-high standards :D

All good stuff, in my view! The last thing that’s needed on a forum like this is braggadocio that makes other men feel more insecure (and more pressured to lie themselves when a sensitive topic arises).

I stopped posting for a while. Then I come back and see that honesty has increased in my absence. Hey!

This is a good thing, and it means that it’s a more “Real” place to hang out. I haven’t been here very long, but it is a much more realistic and down to earth place than most other forums I have been a part of. Cheers to everyone here.

Yes. It’s a great place to “hang out”. We are all here for different reasons. It’s is a sole-mate, friend, encyclopedia,confidant and a whole lot more.To discuss things you would not perhaps discuss with your best friend. Keep up the good Work, pats on the back all round.

I think real is what we are all looking for.

This is a good place to be honest with one another.

Its good, as we are all here for the same thing and most members seem to be happy for another after they have put in hard work and gained.

On other pe sites I have seen some members turn to insults when a member disagrees with there opinion often its them insulting the others penis size, which in my eyes in the cheapest shot imaginable when we are all trying to gain.

I think simple guidelines such as no short hand text (u instead of you) helps keep silly and immature people out.

Honesty will help everyone’s PE goals become that much more attainable; not to mention increase the safety of the exercises and give realistic expectations.

I agree, its a good place to hang around, learn, and “talk” about subjects that are

considered,for the most part, a big NO,NO in society. The majority of the threads and postings are fairly

honest and without much BS—-that includes jellybean’s thread/adventures.

Good point about the strictness of chat speak and how it keeps the silly people out.

I’m very pleased at how patient and pleasant the older members and moderators are when us newbies ask fairly pointless or repetitive questions. It creates a far more welcoming attitude than a lot of other places.

Yet that honesty is there if we’re messing up. It’s cool.

I’ve noticed more honesty as well.

In the short time I’ve been browsing this site I’ve noticed,and been impressed by the honesty.

Society finds it hard to deal with the fact that men might actually want to chat to someone about their insecurities,fears and issues.And in essence men want to speak to other men about those issues because they may have similar experiences & issues but we’ve been taught along the way that men having ‘feelings’ and wanting to ‘talk’ about personal issues is a complete taboo.

Places like this break the mould and give men a forum to talk about everything that’s affecting them and their most intimate concern in life.OUR PENIS!

Personally I think this place is great and drop by at least 2 or 3 times a day just to read up on what’s going on,maybe chipping in here or there with a bit of advice,concern or talking about something personal to me.

I say keep the honesty alive and thanks for such a great site :)
