How did this forum begin?

Hi

This is a very very big forum and i ask myself how its “biography” is.
Did you (Thunder) start by creating it and having no members at the beginning?

Did you set many links in the net or has it grown by itself?

Well I am sure the forum elders will bitch slap me if I got something wrong. But here goes what I "think" is the answer.

Some of the old school guys used to hang off an EZBoard that was the original PE Forum. Back in the day to say the least. I think you can look up some old posts like Bib’s History that has been rerecorded/ressurected here. Some old ass posts are contained in http://penis-en largement-manua … e.org/index.htm . I assume something lacked over there and it kind of died or stalled for a reason and this board as well as Big Al’s Pe Forum, the new one at https://www.peforum.net , were born out of it.
Some of the old schoolers were invited over by Thunder himself like the Kanagroo Guru Secjay. There is a thread in which people are asked how they found Thunder’s Place on this very board.
You can go to the members button at the very top of this page and click on it and get by date joined to see who were the very first ones here. That should give you some idea to it.

Ironically, I think Thunder is not the first member here chronologically. It has been a while since I looked, but I think the boss is actually # 2. This place started to fill up fairly soon to the behemoth that it is today. I have been here almost 2 years now.

Some people were introduced to PE by Tom Hubbard who had a site going in the mid to late 1990s. That is where I believe swim cap hanging came from. Tom joined this board for a while. His site is accessible in the links at the bottom of this page I believe.

I think that news spread around the net for those that used to frequent the EZ Boards. I doubt any heavy linking was done in the very beginning. Instead posting that there is a new place on some thread brought most of the old schoolers over. I assume he has since done some search engine registering that gets people now.

If I got anything wrong, feel free to correct me. I just took a semi educated stab or psuedo guesstimate to how it started from what my crummy brain recalls or believes.

The forum was born not so much out of the old PE Forum but the Big-Penis Members board. Thunder, myself and a few others were kinda sick of the Bullshit that was going on over there and Thunder decided to open his own place.

That’s the very short version. He’ll probably correct me if I was wrong.

I was only on the big-penis board for a short time, a few months, I was disoriented like some guy who just turned up late to a town meeting that had already turned ugly, where everybody is pissing and shitting and yelling about stuff…..

Actually I don’t remember it being that bad, it was just like a headless chicken, - dying, but not quite as frantic as that.

There were some really cool guys on there who welcomed me, and for that I am grateful.

I think the main quibble the existing (paying) members had was that the owner was being a real cheeseball, not giving refunds, not updating, etc.

Anyway, the point is, Thunder took the initiative, and created a place that craps all over every other forum and paysite out there, not only in terms of size but more importantly, quality, IMHO.

Thunder invitated me over here, because I was such a well known and respected member of course.

This forum has a very high quality and it seems that peforum.net dies these times……

Also at the time the PE forum was being troll attacked and hacked regular and we needed another forum in case the peforum went down for good.
