In the same spirit I always try to judge before starting something: is this something I can see myself doing for a very long time.
When doing that for PE I decided to skip warm-ups, warm-down, too long jelqing, hanging, pumping. I just could not see myself doing any of these more than a short period of time.
If every exercise is a struggle you know for sure that you won’t be able to continue for long. Make it easy, natural and pleasurable. I have no preparation time, I simply lock the bathroom door and pull down my pants and I am going. If I would have to pull out lots of equipment, heat up water or a microwave, or transport myself to a different location, etc, etc, I know I could not keep it up and hence I wouldn’t even start.
