Please excuse the attitude in this post. I had a very bad pumping experience this evening and I’m very upset about it. To find out what it was, see pumper’s forum).

I’ve tried clamping and can’t seem to make it work. I’ve read all the “clamping: everything you need to know” and “all about clamping” type threads that we have on here. When I’ve attempted clamping in the past, I get hard, apply the clamp, and lose my erection. Even when I watch the hottest porn and stroke myself to attempt to maintain the erection, it goes a little soft and is not where it needs to be.

Some talk about getting hard, applying the clamp and then being able to leave it until the time is up, all the while having maintained their rock hard erection. Well, I can’t do that.

I don’t know what the problem is. Anybody?

Alright - I’ll give it a shot based on my experience. You say that you “get hard, apply the clamp”. I have found that clamping a hard erection is not nearly as effective as clamping a modestly tumescent penis and then kegeling in blood to create the best state. Here’s what I do that works well:

1) get around a 50% erection
2) apply the clamp and tighten moderately
3) stroke and kegel to move more blood past the clamp
4) tighten the clamp incrementally
5) rinse and repeat 3 & 4 until engorged

I would say that it takes me about 3 - 5 minutes from start to full clamp state. I am very pleased with my results.

This is how I thought it was supposed to work but I have never been successful at having it work like that, I have to stimulate myself constantly.

Yeah I agree with the two responses above. I have had no success when applying the clamp when I was already 100% erect (the penis becomes too rigid at that point to see much expansion). Get a 30-45% erection, attach the clamp, then stroke yourself to a full erection. I have never been able to keep it completely hard either unless I am constantly stroking it but at the same time, it is ok if it starts to go soft, as long as you are able to keep it engorged with the expansion that was created.

Here’s another problem I’ve had. If I don’t get the clamp in just the right position, my dick doesn’t become as engorged. If it’s in the completely wrong position, it is simply uncomfortable. Anybody ever experience this?

You don’t have to be all the way hard in the clamp but should be engorged bigger than your normal erectioin. I constantly massage it while clamped to increase the effect although I don’t see why it’s a hassle to you guys when it involves no work.

1)Get semi-erect
2)Apply clamp a couple notches
3)Get erect and kegal and close a notch and repeat this until it’s tight
4)Let erection subside a little until it is not as rigid as fully hard but still engorged
5)Close 1 to 2 more notches and feel the pressure

I find that when I’m completely 100% hard and rigid before applying the clamp it just doesn’t work right so I do the steps mentioned above and I feel the pressure.

When I have been clamping, I’ve always found that it helps to push the clamp in towards the base of the penis while kegeling to get it into the correct position, but it may not be the same for you.

For me, when it’s in the right place the blood in the penis starts to “lock” it there, and it no longer slides away from my body.

Take your time, pick a simple routine you can stick to, and be consistent in your efforts. Patience is the key.

How much expansion do you guys get beyond your normal erect state?

Oh and I always get 100% erect and then put on the wrap and quickly tighten one clamp on quickly almost as much as possible. Then put on the other above that and it will be rock hard. Then slowly keep tightening both till you literally can’t anymore. Leave it for 5minutes staying stimulated then do some bends/440’s get back to 100, untighten a little and pull the clamps right down kegel in fresh bloody and do it up as far as possible again. By that point it will be the biggest possible.

Terrible in grown hairs prevent me from being consistent with my clamping and lately my health/diet has been poor and I’ve been masturbating like a mad monkey so my EQ is about a 3 except in the mornings when it’s a rock solid 10. Strangely though, I’ve lost length and girth since I had to take a break from clamping. I couldn’t believe it when I measured, my penis felt different in my hands but I didn’t think I’d lose 0.25” of girth and 0.5” in length. :(

I remember something similar happened to be a while back and I’m thinking the culprit was that my diet wasn’t sufficient enough at the time. I was drunking quite a bit but my meals were sparse’ing. The next time I went off clamping I made sure to eat/drink better and I didn’t have that problem.


Size is little more than a controllable perception without an accurate means of measurement.

It’s the bloody in grown hairs that start the downward spirals. I think I’m going to have to pluck or wax from now on.
