Sounds typical. Did you really believe for one minute that her ex was a properly measured 9”?! Guys have to stop listening to the numbers women throw around. I think most women believe porn stats and thus use “porn inches” as their frame of reference. I think guys would rest a little easier if they calculated their own size in porn inches so they could compare apples to apples when women quote sizes.

magazines probably don’t educate these poor women, because for the most part, not many women are really interested in measuring their man’s unit. It’s an insult depending on how you look at it.

Without getting into a size debate, and I know this has been discussed ad nauseum, I think it’s more of a Man’s focus than the womans, although I know there are women who are into deep penetration, but I still think it’s mostly a guy thing.

“Most people” meet someone, and either like them or they dont, and the new couple will “kick the tires”. There are other things besides “Mr Winky”, that can please someone, so if everything else is super, and “Mr Winky” is medium, then I think the there can be a happy match.

My Humble Opinion.

I agree anna. I never asked any woman about “numbers,” in my life - let alone measuring technique. That is a sad, insecure paranoia which just opens a man up for ridicule and/or manipulation.

My whole take on size is this:

(1) Bigger is USUALLY better (up to a point, of course),
(2) Most women who say size is completely irrelevant are either lying or they’ve never had a big fatty (just like no man would say that a floppy canyon pussy is as nice as a tight one).
(3) There are some big fellas out there - maybe more common than many guys here want to admit [remember when erm1981 posted his girthy cock pics here, he was jumped by a member or two….I didn’t doubt the pics were legit, but he even posted a video link. End of story. Just a lot of highly sensitive cynicism here]
(4) I never believed that women went around looking for Mr Right with a ruler in their hands.

I think too many men here don’t realize how pathetic they make themselves look when hounding a woman for numbers, or requiring a description of their measuring techniques. I must say that the size of my wifes ex’s is not dinner table conversation but the subject of different sized lovers came up over some wine and a HBO Real Sex episode. That’s a little different. I had a scenario where my wife (now 18 years) made a comment about my girth back when we were dating (she said something like, “oh, you have a thick one” - or thereabouts). I acted mildly surprised, but didn’t want to show that her words had any particular effect on me :) Anyway, she related that the one guy she was with was “about an inch” shorter and the other was “about an inch” longer - but both were thinner. And the longer guy had a bad bend to it, which made her feel bad for him.

And even at age 20, I was smart enough to let it go - just filed away the info (her one was about 5.5 and the other was about 7.5 - but both were probably < 5” girth).

But guys should never open themselves up. She may be lying to you about their size - either making them bigger than they really were to mindfuck you, or making them smaller, out of pity - which is worse. You just give a gal too much power over your emotional state by delving into this matter.

You may have seen the same one I saw, not sure how often male stripper shows HBO Real Sex have on.
