What does an asterisk beside your name mean?

That you have an asterisk beside your name.

I think it’s because you’re the administrator. I’ve never been in the a thread at the same time as you, so I’ve never seen your name to have noticed. :)

You! When I came in to make my the first post in this thread I saw it.

Where di you see it? Do you have one next to your name also?

It was down at the bottom of the screen (using sub blue) in the users viewing this thread. Mine didn’t have one. There were some other names, but I only noticed yours because it was the first time I’d ever been in a thread with you, and there was a little star beside you. I dunno, maybe you don’t see it on your own name, but regular members do? Has anyone else ever noticed this?

I tried looking on the users online list, but it looks like you’re invisible on that thing.

I figure it’s because you’re the owner; I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen it before.

Probably just a floater in KOG’s eye.

I have an asterisk next to my name at the top of the page, where “Users viewing this thread” is. Only I can see it - I think because you can’t see me.

That is what the asterisk is supposed to tell you, that you have your usercp options set to “invisible”. If KOG can see me, he is having another lucent experience or my settings are fucked.

I’m pretty sure I saw, but I could’ve my squirrelly brain could’ve added something considering how quick my glance was, not to mention that I was kinda surprised that I’d finally caught Thunder in a thread. I’ll stay in here and keep hitting refresh until I see him in to update again and try and get a screen shot of it.

ICM is in here, he’s a mod and doesn’t have it. Some of you others wait around and hit refresh until Thunder comes back in. (I just missed him while typing my last post.) See if you see anything funny by his name.

Thunder’s right, look at this picture. I made myself invisible for a second and it’s the same thing. I know I saw him in here, and he had an asterisk just like this one. I’ll keep hitting refresh and show you when Thunder comes back in. I don’t know why I can see him.

edit: Shoot, I just looked at Thunder’s profile and he went offline. grrrr.
